If you could turn an extra room, basement, garage, whatever into your own personal arcade, what games would you put in it?

My top choices:

-Air Hockey Table
-CarnEvil
-Golden Axe
-Marvel vs. Capcom: Clash of the Super-Heroes
-Pin-Bot Pinball Machine
-Raiden II
-Space Harrier
-Spider-Man: The Arcade Game
-Superman: The Arcade Game
-Super Street Fighter II
-Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: The Arcade Game
-Terminator 2: Judgment Day: The Arcade Game
-Time Crisis II

-Nintendo Player's Choice-10 with: Super Mario Bros., Super Mario Bros. 3, Contra, Gradius, Ninja Gaiden II: The Dark Sword of Chaos, Legendary Wings, Double Dragon, Mike Tyson's Punch-Out, DuckTales, and R.C. Pro-Am.

-SNK MVS, 4-Game Slots with Metal Slug II, Magician Lord, Samurai Shodown, and Aero Fighters

And of course a dart-board.

I've actually put some thought into this. :P

I'd like to have Marvel vs. Capcom 2, Tatsunoko vs. Capcom, (Japanese import?) and the arcade Mario Kart. :D

I already have an arcade cabinet, plus a JAMMA set-up without the cabinet.

Used to have two cabinets actually.

Unless its some really old non-JAMMA stuff, you can put whatever you want on it. Or better said, whatever you can afford. Arcade games are on an entirely new level of expensive in comparison with console or PC games.

The only problem are games that require special controls. You can still plug them technically, but you won't be able to play them properly.

Hell, I even have this RGB to JAMMA adapter. I can hook my PS2 and X68k to the cabinet.

I'd honestly rather just play console versions or run it on an the computer then have big arcade cabinets, even if I had a huge house. Of course, there are some arcade only, but most of those games don't interest me a lot unless they were multiplayer.

Japanese type arcade cabinets are pretty slim and compact actually. Specially those from the mid-late 90s onwards.

The western ones are the big chunky ones. I agree, its lots of wasted space on the inside.

Long list of video games. But something else I'll eventually try to track down is one of these (although I remember the base being bulkier)

Space is the big issue for me. The one thing I hope to eventually get and realistically have space for is a Neo-Geo cab of some sort. Aside from that, if I had space, I have fond memories of playing:

Simpson's Arcade Game

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Arcade Game

Lethal Enforcer

Street Fighter II

I'd also get ski-ball and pinball tablese for sure. Actually, I'd prefrer pinball to any of the video games, to be honest. I have no real preferenc on what I'd get though.

I'd def. like to have many old Sega games, old Capcom games and old Midway games if I made a personal arcade. Even some Atari ones.

I completely forgot about that masterpiece. I would totally have this in my arcade room along with the rest I already mentioned.

I'd have Defender, Zaxxon, Tron, Robotron, Tempest, Gorf, Pac Man, Battlezone, Centipede, Breakout and a Black Knight pinball machine. A nice air hockey table would be good too.
