I wouldnt say im addicted at all anymore. On the rare occasions when i have money to buy a new game i usually dont even feel like buying it by the time i get to the store.

If i have something that im enjoying though, i will play until i physically cannot keep playing. Last time i did this was when i got Batman AA which i played for nearly 16 hours without stopping.

As of the past two months there has been maybe 2 or 3 days where I've not spent at least 3 hours (often times up to 5 or 6 hours) playing White Knight Chronicles...

It all depends on the game I am playing. With FFXIII I am hooked on it, but once that is finished my regular gaming scheduale should resume, plus I am trying to beat FFXIII prior to my summer semester starting which is next week :P

I've played long enough that when I take a bathroom break or whatnot I look outside and am flabbergasted by the sheer definition of the world.

And thats while playing Wii games, looking at HD makes me think "man, real life looks so much better".

Then I try to interact with it and fail, just like Myst.

i wouldn't say I'm addicted I know when to stop, usually... Occasionally I'll find myself so caught up in a storyline that I cant put the controller down.

Wouldn't call it addiction, but definately appreciation. You play until you must eat or sleep. The next day, you are forced to think about it because it took up so much of the time. But for me, it doesn't get as far as not sleeping or sleeping a short period of time.

Mine started years ago. I made my girlfriends go to the Mall with me so I could play. My wife still talks about it (29 years together).
