Looks like you've played the best ones, lol.The only one I can think of now to recomend is Tales of Legendia. But you should be aware that the battle system is a pretty big step back from Tales of the Abyss. And it uses random battles. The story is great though, and the characters are hillarious.A lot of people hate it, but it really just depends on what your looking for.

There's an anime of Tales of Legendia??

In that case I don't blame you, if it's a detailed anime anyway. But if it's short like most Tales anime's, I doubt it has the same humour as in the games. But still, due to the not so fun gameplay, it probably won't be worth getting if you already know the story.

Persona 3 and MS Saga: A New Dawn are pretty good. I didn't care for Rogue Galaxy much even though I'm a big fan of Level 5.

I'm surprised Shin Megami Tensei: Persona 3 has got 4 votes already currently 4/0 when I first saw the game, wow what were they smoking when they made this... after I watched some playthru videos I quickly changed my mind very fun looking game if not crazy enough not to play it, tho I got 20$ atm I can buy that or 2 others games since I'm a Fan of Level 5, its a hard decision............

Rogue Galaxy I played a few hours in...and got distracted by a couple DS RPG's, I liked it enough to want to come back to it, yet something just didn't grab me about it. I think something about the story just didn't have a purpose/direction right away . The battle system is a nice change of pace, I think it just wasn't what I was in the mood for at the time. On a $6 whim I picked up Xenosaga 1, I quite liked it and am looking to get the 2nd and 3rd sometime. Solid sci-fi story and a slightly revamped battle style. It's in space---so running around on spaceships got a little old on a couple occasions, but there were other locations to keep it moving along. A nice cast of characters, where even the robots had realistic human behaviors, and made choices not typical to a lot of RPGs. Check it out if anything.

Dragon Warrior and Dragon Quest are the same thing, it was called Quest in Japan and then renamed to Warrior when it was released in North America. They only changed it back to Quest in America a few years ago. The first two games in the series are pretty primitive and probably aren't for anyone other than hardcore fans of the series/genre, but I'd seriously recommend VIII, it's nothing like those early games.

I would pick Persona 3 from the list for sure, make sure to get FES. These are also great but not on your poll or list. Shin Megami Tensei: Digital Devil Saga 1 & 2 Suikoden III & V

Excellent suggestions.

I'd add Shadow Hearts and Shadow Hearts Covenant. There is a third Shadow Hearts game, but it's not as good and not really connected to the other two.

Tales of Legendia has the best cast of characters of any Tales game. I agree, the battle system wasn't as great as Tales of the Abyss' battle system, but I still loved Tales of Legendia regardless. The unique battle system was fun enough, and the soundtrack for that game was incredible, the best video game soundtrack of all time.

Dragon Quest VIII is highly recommended. I also neglected to mention Kingdom Hearts I, II, and Persona 3 as these are excellent as well.

Rogue Galaxy by a mile. Don't get MS Saga unless you're a big Gundam fan. It's just fair IMO. Dot Hack GU...haven't played it yet, but I own the trilogy. Will get around to it sometime.

Judging by your list it sounds like you're off to a good start.

Xenosaga Episode I
Final Fantasy XII

Hm... that's all I can think of off the top of my head.

I recently got Persona 3&4 and Digital Devil Saga 1&2, still sealed, for next to nothing. Still haven't had a chance to play them, though. I've heard they're great.

Tales of the Abyss

Tales of Legendia

Dark Cloud

Dark Cloud 2

Kingdom Hearts

Kingdom Hearts 2

InuYasha: The Secret of the Cursed Mask

GeoffZak

Now Kingdom Hearts 1-2 I've played & beat very nice games thats for .... (InuYasha: The Secret of the Cursed Mask)I have played when I was at a friends house
just a bit he didn't like it much & I liked it... my friend was going to sell it to me but sold it to someone else..... lol wish I used my food money then I brought it from him then didn't play it much (about 30 mins lol)

Now I did updated my played list on the first page with Kingdom Hearts 1-2 but not InuYasha: The Secret of the Cursed Mask since I didn't play it much at all

P3 is in general a bit better in the story department(the theme that is,because the core of both stories is very similar),P4 is in my opinion better in terms of characters, music, much better themed dungeons, battle system and in most ways,it feels like a more polished experience. I prefer the locations of P4 as well.

You should try both though, and if you plan to play both of them,it´s probably better to start with P3 simply because some gameplay mechanics are improved,I went P4 first and later P3 and I know that if I had played P3 first,I would´ve apreciated it a lot more than I do. ;)

Xenosaga.

Most people gave up after Episode I. Others gave up after Episode II (which is more understandable since it took a bit of a quality hit). Sadly almost no one played Episode III, which was by far the best. If you play the series back to back, it's incredibly rewarding storywise. Best storyline on PS2, and overall second only to Xenogears.

Man I couldn't play Xenosaga. The main character sounded like she was voiced by a woman going through menopause.

Menopause makes you sound more manly because of the hormone embalance.

The point is they cast a middle age woman for a younger character. Actually, I thought most of the voices sucked, which is why it was hard for me to get into.
