Well I've been playing the COD4 beta and its pretty much non stop action you run out there kill a couple die and respawn almost instantly to start the cycle all over again.

P.S. Its going to be my new favorite game once the final version is released. :)

Yep that was the first to come to mind, nothing more crazy than having endless enemies running at you.

If you want to go for the opposite of fast paced, try Civilization 4
