Title says it all, for me it's New Super Mario Bros.

farcry2...JigglyWiggly_I didn't finish it, had potential...but half way through I got bored with it.
farcry2...JigglyWiggly_As much as I love that game I understand where you're coming from. Personally have to say the latest Fist of the North Star - Ken's Rage: every level is an almost exact replica of the one before it.
Most repetitive game I've ever played is Space Invaders, but if your talking about this gen then I'd go with GTA4
I find the side scrolling Mario platformers repetitive, probabaly because they don't change much, addictive for a little while but then I just get bored.
I also find Dead Rising 2 repetitive but still endless fun.
No idea but I do know that the repetittive and boring combat, fighting the same enemies over and over again etc in El Shaddai was something that made me burn out on this game very quickly.
As much as I love it, Battlefront 2. It's fun and addicting, but there is no difference between the multiplayer, instant action, and single player modes really. They all play exactly the same with no real suprises.
I also find JRPGs VERY repetitive. But the most repetitive is Teen Titans for the PS2. It is a 3D beat em up based on the show, and holy crap, is it repetitive.
I do not want to play Assassin's Creed 1... I was coming here to say Assassin's Creed II :O. I'll also mention De Blob 2
Auto-battle n00b ;)LOL, how does disliking a game for almost playing itself make somebody a noob?[QUOTE="DarthJohnova"][QUOTE="Jackc8"]
Final Fantasy XIII. I just sat there pressing X for 15 hours.
Menalque2
Because using Auto-Battle is the most inefficient way to play XIII. This is evidenced a little later in the game where it takes more than just "mashing X" to win.
I will go with the most recent repetitive game series I played and that would be Gears Of War 1-3. But if we are talking all time than Pong, Pacman, Space Invaders and pretty much anygameup to 1995 could be considered the most repetitive.
I could really say any shooter here. Shooters in general are nothing more than holding down the trigger & moving forward but the one that sticks out the most is Gears Of War. Any of them.
Assassins Creed keeps popping up here. At least with AC you can fight, run, climb, explore & blend. Gears is just shoot, take cover, get ambushed, take cover, more shooting, more shooting . . . . . let me guess . . . . more shooting? Yes, defintely more shooting!!!
This, it is very narrow minded of people to call one game repetitive and not shooters like Call of Duty, just shooting and shooting and more shooting is repetitive, repetitiveness in games it not always bad, shooters can be tons of fun start to finish and have lots of replay value. Dead Rising 2 is repetitive but still endless fun.I could really say any shooter here.
