most violent game ive ever played.... when I was a kid, Duke Nukem 3D was very violent, especially for a 6 year old, manhunt is more violent, but when I was 6 the violence in Duke Nukem was worse
Its when you shoot people in GTA4 sitting on a park bench in the back of the head that's really messed up... or bums... since you get no money from them.... Gears of War 2 definitely was the most bloody thoughGTA4 if you make it violent. It just feels really sick when you shoot a innocent shopowner in the face. Seriously. That's just messed up.
Left4Dead is pretty straightforward slaughtering too.
Papitar
perfect dark 64,
they actually use bad language to go along with the shooting and when they die they leave a puddle of blood on walls/floor,
not many games tend to do this,
especailly in that era,
theres only 2 other games ive played in the fps genre, that had swearing in it,
and they both bare the name tom clancy,
rainbow six vegas and rainbow six vegas 2, does everything pd64 does,
Resident Evil 4. Blowing people's heads off pretty much takes the cake.
And then there's Conker Live and Reloded. You can decapitate other players. And there's blood spatter on the screen.
And in Bioshock you can totally mess people up. I've spent quite a bit of time just hitting a dead body with a wrench until it becomes one bloody mass. That's actually kind of sick now that I think about it.
I didn't see anyone list Soldier of Fortune II.
MadWorld for Wii looks like its main draw will be the violence.
I would also list things like Ninja Gaiden/Sigma/II, Gears of War, God of War/II, and Manhunt. GTA IV also seems more violent than the previous games because of the more realistic atmosphere.
Chiller and Time Killers were really violent/cartoony games in the arcade.
