What's up with Amazon???

I pre-ordered Bioshock 2. Its not even going to ship until Feb 16, and its estimated arrival is between Feb 23 - Mar 1st. I dont understand why It wouldn't atleast ship on the games release date. This will be the last time I pre-order with Amazon, get my new release 3 weeks after it comes out. Anyone else having/had this situation or know why its shipping so late? anything I can do about it? I thought worse case scenario I would get it a few days after release, but jeeze...

it depends on which type of shipping you used, there's one day shipping, 2 day shipping, 3 to 5 day shipping etc. The faster the shipping the more expensive it becomes, but you will get it much faster. This is to be expected of all online outlets, other than that the only reason it might be taking so long is a mistake on their part or if you live outside of the US.

Thanks for the reply... I used the free 1 week shipping. Which Is why I expected it to be a week late. Its the fact that It will not even ship until the games already been out for a week is what confuses and upsets me

Update: I wrote an E-mail to Amazon, they quickly responded and resolved my issues. I should recieve the game on the 12th. I'm impressed with the quality of customer service they provided. I changed my mind, I will continue to pre-order from Amazon.

BTW, they generally offer release-day shipping for a couple of extra bucks. If you really, really want it the day it comes out that's your best bet.
