For Me, it would have to be Super Metroid. I loved that game to death as a kid and still do. I've probably beaten about 20 times and it never gets old. Great graphics, great gameplay. Everything rocks. So whats yours?

super mario world 2: yoshi's island, because it was simply a brilliant game and also the first game I ever purchased.
Final Fantasy VI (III on SNES) it was one of the first RPG i was owning, i think i received it the day it came out, i had the original box + booklet. Its the game that sucked me in the longest. With a file that goes over 100 hours. (i was 8 at the time so...) It also helped me improving my understanding of English text. For me its also the best FF of the whole serie and will never be surpassed.
No love for 1 or 3?Donkey Kong country 2. I probably beat this game once a summer ever since it came out and I love it every time.

Super Mario World is my favorite Super Nintendo game of all time. Next would be Donkey Kong Country, and then Yoshi's Island. I have so many memories of me on a 1990's Summer day in my room playing my Super Nintendo on my six inch.

I played the first one on GBA and thought it was ok. I have the third for SNES, but i got it off ebay and cartridge is a bit glitchy so whenever I close the SNES there is a 50% chance that my saved game got erased, which happens very often so I havent been able to finish it.
I find 1 and 3 less complete than the second, in the sense that they are much too easy and it feels to me like less detail and effort were put into the levels.
My favorite game of all time (which is for the SNES) is Earthbound.
I love everything about that game.
1. Its fun.
2. I enjoy the gameplay very much
3. It has a great story
4. It has funny dialouge
5. It has great music and awesome 16-bit graphics.
6. The US slogan is "This game stinks"
I really can't choose between...
Chrono Trigger: Favorite RPG on SNES. If not the best, just slightly behind Xenogears.
Super Metroid: Same as everyone had already stated before me..
Donkey Kong Country 2: My absolute favorite platformer game of all time.
The Legend of Zelda: A Link To The Past because it not only the first Zelda game I beat but it really took Zelda into another level. The Overwrold and Darkworld's were epic, the dungeons have great level design, the items were awesome and the music is argueably one of the best soundtracks of all time. hey took the first Zelda and refined and perfected it. It also perfected a two type world (Light and dark)that were both similar in which both Ocarina of Time, MetroidPrime 2: Echoes, Twilight Princess andothersborrowed the idea from. Overall, it is one of my favoite games of all time.
Honorable mentions: Super Mario World, Super Metroid, Final Fantasy IV, Final Fantasy VI, Donkey Kong Country, Super Mario RPG and Super Mario World 2: Yoshi's Island.

I totally agree with everything you said about ff 6 when it came out on the snes. I would play that game for hours and hours. It was one of those games that just made me want to play more of the game to find out what was going to happen next. I would have to say that mario kart was a great as well and so was sim city for the snes.
Absolutely. I'm a platform junkie, and Yoshi's Island blew me away with its gameplay and graphics which still, to this day, largely remains unchallenged. It was a pure joy to play from start to finish. Incredible experience.super mario world 2: yoshi's island, because it was simply a brilliant game and also the first game I ever purchased.

Chrono Trigger for its brilliant replay value, characters, story, music and i quite liekd the double tech/triple tech
Way too many to name, but it would probably be one of the epic RPG's the SNES had. It would have to be between Chrono Trigger, Final Fantasy, or Super Mario RPG
ChronoTrigger...Super Metroid...Final Fantasy 2...Final Fantasy 3...all my favorites.
Which one more? Super Metroid.
