Mine's easy.
I don't know why I did it. And I'll probably never know what the heck I was thinking.
I passed on Ico brand new and sealed for $10.
Ya...I really dropped the ball there.
What's your #1 gaming regret?

A while back I'd found a new copy of XenoGears for just $ 30 bucks and I passed it up. When I went back the store no longer had a copy of the game and I had to pay $ 45 for a used copy off of amazon.com
I sold my PS1 and like 8 PS1 games they day before they announced they stopped selling them in stores, tell this day I'm still pissed about it.
When I was a little kid (like 8-11 years old) my local blockbuster had Dragonball GT: World Tour for rent, and they eventually put it up for sale like all blockbusters do with the games that they're no longer renting. I passed up on it because as a kid I didn't know what DBGT was and I sure as hell didn't know that the game was rare and valuable. I saw it every time I went to that store and each time I looked at it and thought "that game looks stupid". Granted I was right, but still...ARRGH!
My only other big regret is all the games and the few systems I sold off or traded into stores like Gamestop as a kid. Damn I was stupid. Thank god I stopped selling systems early on, though unfortunately I kept trading in games like an idiot until I was like 17.
When I was 11, my family moved to another house in the same city (but in a different part of that city). We took our Nintendo 64 and controllers with us in our van, but we foolishly let the movers take the games with the rest of our stuff. Since we could never find those games in ANY of our boxes, that means the movers PROBABLY lost or stole the games... We have not yet found those games to this day... I had about 25 N64 games, all used, of which the combined value was probably about $400. On the bright side, at least I don't have Superman 64 anymore...BoredomCureX
You bought Superman 64? How is that not your biggest gaming regret?

No, my parents bought me that game for my birthday for something like two dollars. Until they saw the actual game, they thought it was a bargain...Trading in Panzer Dragoon Saga when I bought my PS2. Granted, I got $60 for it, but considering I'd have to pay 2 or 3 times as much to get it again, I feel I really messed up there.
Getting a girlfriend. Now I have little to no interest in gaming. The void gaming once filled has now been filled properly.
Sometimes I sit and play them too long and I end up missing out on stuff with my friends. I really gotta stop doing this. :(

Before I was into metal gear solid, (This was over a year ago) but I saw a copy of Metal Gear Solid: Portable Ops, and haven't been able to get a copy since...
I have been succesful in procuring copies of MGs2 and MGS3 since.
*Sigh*
The Metal Gear that got away.

That's why the internet is so awesome now.As a gamer and as a human being, my biggest regret was paying $60 for an N64 copy of Cruisin' USA back in 1997. Gawd did I hate that game...

I have a few gaming regrets
One regret I have is I don't have enough time to play all the games I want. :(
Another one, is not getting Marvel Vs. Capcom 2 for cheap when I had the chance.
Another one, is selling my NES and all those games I had as a kid in 1996 :( I should have held onto the games at least as I had a lot of them complete with the box, manual and sleeves.
buying ar tonelico 2 and later found out there was a huge freaking bug/glitch. aside from that, my other regret is no money to buy next gen console.
