What game do you go back and play for years? Play it, get sick of it, then go back a few months later...
I play Diablo II and Guitar Hero in 2-3 month intervals.

:D
Well, I never get sick of it... Doom II: Hell on Earth. I've been playing it every year on and off since 1994. I remember several distinct periods in my life where I just binged the hell out of it.foxhound_fox
Oh yeah. Doom II was the first FPS I ever played and no FPS since has ever been able to recreate how amazing an experience it was. The level designs exhibit a variety and brilliance that have never been replicated, IMO. Also play the PS version with the upgraded soundtrack about once a year, which is equally awesome (once I let my eyes readjust to the graphics...)
City of Villains.
Not played it for a few months now but it's the MMO i played more then WoW. Just on and off. I'm pretty sure my MMO days are over by my choice alone. Healer / tank / yawn.

Thrasher: Skate and Destroy.
I've been playing this game on and off for nearly 10 years and I still manage to find new things to do everytime I play it.
King Of Fighters: Maximum Impact.
I swear, that game makes feel like I have a case of Battered Wife Syndrome.
Any Mario Game
Any Zelda Game
FF VII, VIII, IX, X, XII
Tales of Symphonia
All MGS games
some others.
EDIT: Kingdom Hearts 1 and 2
GB Pokemon games. I'm talking about the real games not mystery dungeon and pinball.Nifty_Shark
Me as well, Gold Version to be specific. :) I won't play it for years and then I'll get an urge to play some more, so I keep a GBA with Gold in it handy at all times. :P
I have a feeling Portal will be like this for me as well, except for since I beat it the first time I've played it at least once a week, so I haven't really "gotten tired of it" yet. :P
