mine is and has been the standerd console controller.never really liked using mouse and keyboard to play games.portable consoles controls are good but there aren't many buttons to press on stuff like the DS or GBA.

I agree. I like that the left analog stick is at the top left other than the bottom left (like the PlayStation). I also like the triggers becuase they make shooting and racing feel more easy and realistic.

the 360 controller is the best controller. It feels like an extension of your hand.

ps3's controller doesn't use sixaxis well, and it is not a good price to pay for good ol' rumble.

wii controller gets boring after a while/

Mouse and keyboard no question. Joystick would come second, PS3 & 360 controller third and the Wii last ('course Metroid could change all that!)

definitely the 360 controler, it is sooo comfortable, analogs just the right place, I'd choose it over the PS controller any day.

Depends on the game. For FPS's, I prefer keyboard and mouse. For many 3D action games, the 360 controller feels good, but for anything that uses the d-pad, give me a PS2 controller. Overall, I find the PS2 controller the easiest to use and the most comfortable to hold. The placement of the analog stick doesn't cause any problems because of the smooth nature of analog control, and the d-pad is still eminently usable.

Mouse and KB for most games. The Wii remote is fun and I like how well it senses movement. For standard controllers though, the Gamecube controller is the one for me. It fits so well and doesn't hurt your hands during marathon sessions (not as much as xbox and dual shock).

I'm fairly certain it does have pressure sensitive controls, even the triggers. In The Darkness the hammer of your revolver only goes back slightly if you pull the triggers slightly.

I'm fairly certain as well. I build robots as a hobby, I remember a post on a robotics forum where someone was trying to wire a 360 controller to use as a robot controller, but was having trouble with the analog buttons.

Just tried a few games, can call it confirmed :P. All the buttons are pressure sensitive except the bumpers and the analog buttons.
