I've been buying all the consoles each generation, but my favorite is still the boot up sound for the original Playstion. What's yours?

Yup, also the original Playstation's boot up sound for me, pretty much my whole gaming childhood compacted into one sound, that is.

Gamecube for consoles. Otherwise I'd go with my old Powermac 6100, which had a neat acoustic guitar-ish startup sound.

I miss the original Xbox 360 boot up display. It had that "bam next gen its here" feel to it.

As far as boot up sounds I think the Gamecube's were best.

Not really a console boot up sound but I always liked the SEGA that played when you first booted up Sonic on the Genesis

Playstation 1, no other answer is correct. I also like the ps2, GBA, GameCube, and dreamcast ones. The SEEEEEGGGGAAAA that's on sonic and some other genesis games is also really cool.
