Nintendo and The Legend of Zelda.
One frosty Christmas morning I woke up to disappointment that my parents didn't get me a Nintendo. In my 5 year old dispair I wandered around my house eating Legend of Zelda gummies i got in my stocking. I dropped one under the pantry door and when I opened the door I nearly pooped myself. There my parents had hidden my Nintendo with The Legend of Zelda and Metroid.
23 years later I am still playing strong and am an avid Zelda fan.

GameCube,Because I like the games Super smash bros. melee,Sonic adventure 2 battle, Sonic adventure DX, The legend of zelda the wind waker, and many other games that are on this system!! Celifrogagreed i love the gamecube aswell my favorite console would have to be the N64
Favorite game: Shenmue (1 and 2)
Favorite Console: PS2- I love this system because there are sooooooo many amazing games for it. I ironically though, none of its games break my top 5 games though.
SNES for a longtime, but I seem to be swinging back towards the NES as my #1 console, which it was originally.
As for favorite game, that's really tough, I can't possibly pick one. But here's some top contenders:

i couldnt tell they were your favorite games ;)
Honestly, this changes for me quite often, just depends on the mood I'm in.
My favorite game would probably be Resident Evil REmake on Gamecube. I'm a huge Resident Evil fan, and the remake of that game is perfection in my eyes. The sound effects, graphics, atmosphere, soundtrack, it's all just amazing.
My favorite system, in terms of game library, would probably be the PS1. It just had so many great games that I like. I loved the RPGs on that console. I also liked how the CD format could utilize great looking pre-rendered backgrounds which were used in so many of those great RPGs, along with Resident Evil games of course.
My favorite system, in terms of hardware relative to its generation, would probably be the Xbox. The big ugly box is seriously growing on me. I had one back when it was first out and all throughout the 6th generation, and I liked it a lot, but I'm starting to gain more and more respect for it. It was such a powerhouse console for its time. All the 3rd party multi-platform titles were usually the best on Xbox. It had the inclusion of the harddrive, built in ethernet port, I dunno, I just think the Xbox is a really spiffy console and was/ is really cool. I also like how it made LAN so accessible. I have fond memories of LANning up on Halo with my friends on my Xbox. It just really brought together the social aspect of gaming because of the hardware capabilities. LAN parties were always exclusive to PC before the Xbox, and PC LAN parties were always less practical and uncommon occurances. With the Xbox, we would have big get togethers all the time and just have fun.
i gotta say tbh doom 32x
and dr jekyl and mr hyde for nes

Still have that one! Works, too! Getting through Level 15 and then dying was a ****, wasn't it???
It's hard to say one game is my absolute favorite, but "DOOM" comes very close. But "Eternal Darkness" on the GameCube, along with "Metroid Prime" were some of my most profound experiences in gaming. "Sky Odyssey" and "Drakan: The Ancients' Gates" for the PS2 is also one of those unbelievably great couple of games I could never live without. Hard to say which is tops.
playstation 1 to me it's the best, for its great library for series had origin from, for its fantastic sound produced

Wow! :)
wow thats a hard one.....
but id have to say Grand Theft Auto San Andreas on the Playstation2. It's just such a huge game that i've spent dozens of hours playing. Lately I've been playing games on the playstation1 and xbox360 more, but SA is still my favorite.
a close 2nd would be California games on Atari Lynx (its nothing like the one on nes)
I'm torn between NES and SNES. Both have games I'll play to my grave, and both were pioneers in the video game world. I don't think I could even single out one game from either system and say it's my favorite. As far as longest playing time I would say that it would be one of these three games: Dragon Warrior, Legend of Zelda, or Super Mario World.

lol it is a shocker to everyone on here :p
That title usually varies depending on my mood. At the moment, my favorite console is the Genesis because i spend more and more time with it, i love that 3 button controller and i love the action/arcade oriented games such as After Burner II, Splatterhouse 3, MUSHA, Sparkster, Golden Axe I & II, Thunder Force III, and more that i'm forgetting. It's a excellent console, i love everything about it. My least favorite and that hasn't changed for a wile now, is the N64, i spent a lot of money collecting about more than a dozen games with which i spent a lot of time trying to finish 'till i realised that i wasn't enjoying my self that much. I don't like this console at all.
The PS1 is probably going to be my favorite console soon after i take a break from my Genesis, i love this console aswell, and the games such as Crash Bandicoot 1,2 and 3, Xenogears, Castlevania: SotN, Tekken 3, Ridge Racer Type 4, Metal Gear Solid, Street Fighter Alpha 3, and more.
My absolute GOAT games ever are a tie between these six. I can easily play them forever.
Xenogears
Deus Ex
Gothic 2: Gold
Devil May Cry 3: Special Edition
Chronicles of Riddick: Escape From Butcher Bay
Heroes of Might and Magic 3: Complete Edition
Game: A Link To The Past System: Playstation. snes was my 2nd console and link to the past is the first game i ever felt immersed in, but that was when i was about 4 then and playstation had just came out, the snes was a hand me down and playstation honestly blew me away at that time. My parents gave me one as a birthday present when i was about 6 or 7 and my brothers had already built up their collection so i got to play stuff like metal gear solid, ff7, re1/2, and many of my all time favorite games around their release dates. elsewise my other fondest gaming memories would be on a pc around diablo/starcraft to cs:source days.
