what's your favorite re series?

All Resident Evil games are the best, but haa they dont even catch up re4, I mean its totally different and hell is a great game...but well I still love old re games, they will forever be awesome...

 re5 scares me, I think it will be more like a repetition of re4 with a different story. :?

This was a frikkin tough one. I chose RE1 though..based soley on the fact that it's the one i remember changing my life. There was a complete walkthrough in an issue (or maybe two) of Gamepro or some other gaming magazine, and I used to read it over and over before I even got the game. I was so amazed by it.

RE2 is a close second. And ironically, I didn't like 4 very much. It looked amazing, but I longed for the creepy mansions and infected police stations. It was a lot of the classic atmospheres that did it for me. Plus RE2 had "Arrange Game" (I think thats what it was called) where you could just fly through everything with a machine gun and unlimited ammo. Poor, poor zombies.

I've still got 1-3, but don't have a PS1 to play them on. :(

I like 1 (remake), 2 (n64), and 3. Code Veronica was alright...

4 is overrated, though. Its good but I miss real zombies and it was way too easy.

I'll get 5 just because I love the series but it will be just like 4 except you shoot different people and its in new locations.

RE1, no other can compare to the atmosphere and fear in that game. Series went downhill hardcore after 3. I can't stand CV or Zero but at least they were actual RE games- not some action shooter like RE4.

LOL at those "RE fans" that think they can rate the entire series when they started with 4.

Most people like RE4 'coz it's one that has been released not long ago,and was on the most popular console of the time being,PS2..bogoni
