What's your favorite retro series?

I know most people will have to say other but I might be able to make a better poll after this based on your input. I didn't even put my own favorite series because it's not so popular, it's mega man. I chose Mario and Sonic because they are the mascots of the 2 main retro consoles, zelda because many polls throughout almost everything have placed it as the top series in all gaming. Final Fantasy I put in there because honestly it just seems like there are tons of fans on these boards. Please list your favorite series if it isn't of those 4.

Sonic. As much as I love Zelda, Final Fantasy and Mario, Sonic's the one I've had the most memories with.

Mega Man. Not counting the recent 8-bit makes, his outings on the NES and the SNES are some of my favorite games of all time.

Final Fantasy. 1-6 are just... so good.

Final Fantasy for me. My other favorite retro series isn't on the list and that is Castlevania.

In absolute terms Resident Evil series

Wow theyre all pretty good, but I can't make my decision because they're all great man.
