I would have to go with the 5th one from Ocarina of time just for the boss' name: Volvagia!

Honestly,I can't choose.Every Zelda title I've played has had some fantastically well-designed dungeons, and I'd always have that feeling of "I'm leaving something out..." if I was to choose.

I really agree with that. I just chose a BS reason so that I would actually pick one. Every Zelda dungeon leaves you with a memorable moment, even if you remember it for being mind numbingly frustrating ie. any water temple ever.

I couldn't tell you my favorite, but I could tell you the ones I hated. From some odd reason I could never do the Forest one from Link to the Past. without falling in the same dead-end holes 3 times. I tried the ice palace (also from LttP) once before realizing the staff you get in the swamp is the way to go. I didn't mind the Water Temple in OoT as much as most. I would have to say the one I hated the most though is the end palace of Zelda 2 for the NES. You make one wrong turn and you are screwed. Along with fake floors...

Man, that's tough. Every Zelda's got at least a few great dungeons that really stand out.

TP had Snowpeak, City in the Sky, and Temple of Time (mostly just the atmosphere). Forest Temple from OoT stands out (not the Deku Tree, the Adult Link one) for thoroughly freaking me out for an unexplainable reason. PH's Ice Temple was really innovative, as was the Temple of the Ocean King. I don't remember much of any other Zelda title, though I've played most of them.

Overall, I can't pick one.

The one's I remember the best are all from A Link To The Past.

I think my favourite would be the Third one from the Dark World, where the town was in the Light World. It had the boss that divided into 3 and had the spinning heads that shot fireballs. Really good dungeon, and a somewhat surprising boss appearance.

The second to last dungeon in that game with the Fire and Ice Dragons was fantastic, too.

Water Temple in Ocarina Of Time. One of the best, toughest dungeons in Zelda history.

And believe me, I've played them all. :)

Good question. Hmm... I think ultimately I'm going to have to say my favorite is the Forest Temple from Ocarina of Time.

Hmm, I wanna say Spirit Temple in OoT cause of the Twinrova boss fight...so amazing. But, cause its about dungeons, I'll go with Shadow Temple.

I loved OOT's Water Temple (TP's Water Temple wasn't bad, either).

It might not be my favourite, but there are too many to choose from, so that will have to do.

My favorite is the Forest Temple from OOT. It also has some of the best music for any temple in any Zelda game IMO.

It is pretty hard to pick. I've always liked the various water-themed dungeons though. The water dungeons in OoT and Majora's Mask were the most challenging, IMO, and so I've always appreciated them. From ALttP, there's the ice dungeon, which I also have fond memories of due to its difficulty level. (That's the ice dungeon from the original SNES ALttP, not the GBA remake, which had a dumbed down version of this dungeon).

The Water Dungeon in OoT was an instant favorite of mine. Easily one of the greatest examples of level design ever presented in a video game.

I HATED the Water Temple! I just could not bring my self to beat the freaking Mirror Link! Argh, to this day, I have NOT beat the Ocarina of Time, and every day, a part of me dies because of it. I want to try again, but I was borrowing it way back when, and now I can't find one to play on, and I just can't bring myself to play such a wonderful game illegally. And to play Zelda without a controller? Sacrilege!! Though, my favorite one (besides those I never got to) Would have to be the Forest Temple.

The dungeons in Wind Waker for example aren't laid out as well as OoTs' dungeons, overall I think OoT was more of a vastness sort of factor, and less on the puzzle solving.

Oh! I'm changing mine! My favorite one is OoT (of course) As kid Link, in Hyrule castle, running past the guards to go talk to Zelda for the first time, loved it.

You don't have to play illegally. If you have a Wii, you can download Zelda: Ocarina Of Time in it's entirety for $10 from the Virtual Console service.

I can't really choose one because there are so many awesome ones... I'll list some memorable ones

The 4th Temple in the Dark world aLttP... the one that was where the town was. Theives Grotto or something. The boss was really cool.

The second to last one in Links Awakening, that tower. The one when you collapse one floor onto the other to be able to reach the top, where you fight that eagle. That was so awesome. Level design at its finest.

Sword and Shield Maze from Oracle of Seasons. God that was hard. I love it because of its sheer difficulty.

From Ocarina, it would have to be the Spirit Temple. The music, and atmosphere was so awesome, it was cool how you had to do different bits at different times. The first Iron Knuckle when you were Young Link was epic. Oh, and Ganons Tower rocked to.

The Stone Tower from MM was awesome too... those of you who have played it will understand. amazing level design.

In Windwaker the Tower of the Gods was pretty sweet, and so was the Forsaken fortress. It was cool how you did it all stealth at the start, and then you returned later when you were way tougher.

The Arbiters Grounds for Twilight Princess was awesome as well.

I could keep writing - the Shadow Temple, the Forest Temple from OoT, Jabu Jabu's Belly, The Temple of Time from TP, The Ice Temple from alttp, the Well...

Basically all Zelda Dungeons are amazing. I want to playy them all again now! Where to start?

Oddly enough my favorite and least favorite dungeons are from the same game, OoT.

I loved the Spirit Temple. The music is my favorite from any game, the atmosphere is great and the layout was awesome. The puzzles were pretty tough the first time through and I like how it plays with the time travel.

I hated the Shadow Temple. Falling through floors = aggrevating. And I was not fond of the boss fight either, falling off the drum was annoying.

I will, however, put in an honorable mention for the Stone Tower in MM. As someone pointed out before, the level design was excellent.

I liked the Forrest temple in Ocarina and I don't know if this counts as a dungeon, but I liked the moon in MM

All of them are good, but I'd have to say the Mermaid's Cave in Oracle of Ages.

Good question...it'd either be from OoT or MM...in OoT it was either The water or the shadow temple. In the Shadow Temple, I actually don't need the lens of Truth cause I've got all the invisble pieces memorized, I love it. The Water Temple is great cause its known almost unanimously as the hardest dungeon in the series.

MM is easy, Stone Tower Temple was abosulutely amazing. Its effectively two dungeons in one, and the puzzles that utilize turning the temple upside down and back again were a real exercise in the thought department, but never stressingly difficult. Easy one of the best designed dungeons I've ever encountered, in any game.
