SF2 is one of my all time favorites and SF6 is solid as well but this. Non legacy wise I can't wait to play MK9 on the PC as well. It's currently my favorite fighting game this gen.Mortal Kombat. Always. Sooooo stoked that MK9 is coming to PC.

1. Marvel vs Capcom 2
2. King of Fighters 98: Ultimate Match
3. Virtua Fighter
4. Tekken Tag Tournament
5. King of Fighters XI
Tekken 6 and DOA 5 are the two I enjoy the most with the iterations of those two franchises typically being the ones I favor the most. I'd really like to see another Bloody Roar someday, but I know that's not going to happen so...oh well.Â
Â
Super Smash Brothers Melee, one of my favorite games of all time. Â Granted, I don't play a lot of fighting games.
Street Fighter II dash Turbo: Hyper Fighting Japanese arcade version.
I like to play that on high difficulty against AI or with good players online. (don't own the actual arcade machine - the SNES version is good too)
3rd strike is great, Ive got it on the Dreamcast, the animation is some of the best Capcom's done. final boss is a pain though , more so than Bison in Alpha 3 (who is also pretty cheap with his super move that takes off 3/4 of your life)third strike...that is all.

Hands down: Marvel VS Capcom. Sure the roster was small, but the action was slick and precise. I used to be able to take on anyone and usually at least scrape by, if not crush them utterly.El_Zo1212o
I remember having much more fun with MvC on the PlayStation than either of the sequels. Less was definitely more.
Anyway, my vote goes to Rival Schools. So many happy memories.

EEWWWW! Playstation version was... just... eewwww. If you were going to play ot at home, it had- HAD- to be the Dreamcast version(did they ever release it for ps2?). But I mostly only ever played it at the arcade machine- laundromat, movie theatre, pizza place- wherever I found one.[QUOTE="Business_Fun"][QUOTE="El_Zo1212o"]Hands down: Marvel VS Capcom. If it's KOF Dream Match 99 on Dreamcast then yes but if it's KOF 99 Evolution then no
Star Wars: Masters of Teras Kasi.
and no, I am not joking. I generally avoid fighters alltogether, but since I'm such a star wars fan, this is the only fighter I've ever purcahsed with intent to play.

I also have the exact same taste as this. VF and SNK fighting games <3 Sadly I haven't played waku waku 7 though :(Oh yeah definately street fighter 2 even today its hands down the best fighting game ever made. It practically invented fighting games and cross ups were a bug in street fighter and now they are a feature in every fighting game. Best music, characters, levels ever put in a fighting game and great 2d graphics that hold up well today
