Well, Tyranny has no firm release date but on all interviews, even recent ones, they've been repeating that they target a 2016 release.
I'm excited for Tyranny, the new isometric RPG by Obsidian, although I was underwhelmed by Pillars of Eternity. Tyranny however has an interesting and unique premise (a dictator has conquered the whole known world and you are a high ranking agent of his tasked with judging and bringing order). The game is supposed to have breadth and not length. By that I mean it is supposed to be relatively short, 30-40 hours, but the world-state can change very much based on your decisions in character creation and during the game. This reminds me of Mask of the Betrayer, also by Obsidian, which in my opinion is one of the best RPGs ever created. Finally, it won't have to adhere to past games so much as Pillars did to the Infinity Engine games, so I expect more innovation and interesting things.
Gears of War 4 for me although I'm very much looking forward to Infinite Warfare, Watch Dogs 2, Titanfall 2, Dead Rising 4, and Final Fantasy XV as well. It's going to a very busy final few months of 2016.
Dishonored 2 is probably the one I'm keeping the closest eye on. South Park looks hilarious. Everything else is meh.
There is not much that I'm looking forward to this fall (Q1 2017 surprisingly looks far better). Skyrim Remastered is probably the game that I'm most looking forward to this fall, and as for original games, I'm most looking forward to the Friday the 13th game.
Most anticipated game is a lot of games.
There are so many coming out that there isn't just one standing out.
Civ VI, Mafia 3, Dishonored 2 , south park , planet Coaster is on the top of the list.
Then the honourable mentions like watch dogs 2, BF one, The Last Guardian
Kinda crazy how many good games coming out the last part of the year.
Azure Striker Gunvolt 2. I loved the first game, and the second one is looking like it'll be even better.
I've already preordered both Pokemon versions, and I'll pick up South Park, Civ 6, Yokai Watch 2, and a few other titles. If Tyranny is out this year, then I'll get that as all
Still, I might be most excited for Phoenix Wright: Spirit of Justice. Those games are always great fun.
Damn, forgot all about Civilization VI. Then again, everything I've seen so far made me so close to pre-ordering it, I kind of forgot about it, like; "okay, I'm probably going pre-order, next!"
As for me, it is totally Civilization VI!
I've been playing Civ5 for few years, because Beyond Earth is not so interesting ( as for me). So I've been waiting for new game in this series for so long, I will even stop playing Tempest, wich is my current favourite game.
Can't wait : )
Of the games that are listed here, It's probably new pokemon series game. New forms of Vulpix and Sandshrew are amazing!
Pokemon sun and moon. I've been a pokemon fan since forever, and I from what we're seeing it's going to be quite a shakeup from the usual pokemon formula.
The Destiny Rise of Iron expansion.
Have a clan of people to play it with. And I gotten back into Destiny about two months ago after desiring an online shooter. While knowing that I enjoyed the shooting mechanics and PvP that Destiny offered during my time in vanilla Destiny with a rental when it released. Good to know too that my Destiny character is suppose to carry on into Destiny 2.
Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney − Spirit of Justice . I'm a big sucker for that particular series and have loved every entry thusfar (with the exception of Apollo Justice, which I didn't enjoy so much). Spirit of Justice is looking to be very, very weird, but I'm all for it.
Pokemon Sun / Moon too.
I anticipate Civilization 6, but only after people mod the graphics to make them look less cartoonish. And also i think i may wait a year anyways for a full version to come out, civilization games always come out half finished with many civilizations and features missing until 2 expansions later. Civ 5 was a good example of this, the original game is very small and incomplete compared to the complete version they eventually released.
