Mine would have to be beating Ninja Gaiden. Took me FOREVEVER to learn the last three levels backwards and forwards. The second form boss was annoying too.

Other than that, I beat Zelda II, as well as got the "Mile High Club" achievement on COD 4 (where you have to beat the extra airplane level on the hardest difficulty).

What's YOUR proudest gaming achievement(s)???

100%ing Valkyria Chronicles 2 as far as it would go. In fact, I did it only a few days ago. Unlocking all the characters, medals, levelling up all the classes to 50, A-ranking all the missions(over 200 of them) ... :D

None, to be honest. But the closest to being proud of would probably be beating the Dragovian Trials in Dragon Quest VIII.

Is that an RPG? I've heard a lot of good things about it and have been wanting to play it. Also forgot to mention Halo 3 on Legendary was pretty rough too, as well as collecting all the skulls.

-Completing Jak II which a lot of people found it to be a difficult 3D platformer. -Completing Black Ops Mission 3 and WaW on Veteran which people found amazingly difficult -BioShock 2 on Hard which was really horrid when I was facing the Big Sisters -Completing Battletoads Level 3 (which is the one where you surf through the sewers, I think) -Completing Mega Man 2 and the Mega Man 3 bosses -When I finally figured out strategies to defeat enemies and dungeons in The Elder Scrolls: Arena and Oblivion in their highest difficulties -Completing MGS 2 on Hard (I'm still doing European Extreme) and completing MGS 3: Snake Eater on European Extreme -When I completed the first level of BLOOD with no ammo and low health. I had to use strategic thinking and I had to be quick, too. -When I was younger I had no memory card for my PS2, so completing Ultimate Spider-Man and Ed, Edd, n Eddy: The Mis-Edventures was quite an accomplishment for me, but I had not known at the time those games were pretty short. -Whenever I completed a Castlevania stage it always gave me a sense of achievement and satisfaction. -Completing any difficult and long RPG gives me a sense of accomplisgment (FF series, Persona, Dragon Warror etc.) -Basically when i complete games on their highest difficulties and completing games which my friends and others think are too hard give me a sense of satisfaction and accomplishment. Anybody can complete a very difficult game, it's just the matter of how much time, patience, and effort they are willing to put in.

This reminds me, I completed it on Hero Mode (after beating the game you can play on Hero mode, which iss a harder difficulty. Was almost impossible to get through the turret level with the Crimson Guards on jetpacks, but I did it.

That's pretty cool and yeah people kept saying how Hero Mode was impossible and all that, but I doubt it since most developers would not release a mode that is completely "impossible" to complete.... or would they? Hmmmm.... oh well I haven't seen a developer do that.... yet.

Beating Halo on Legendary by myself was also pretty awesome back in the day.

going to a 20 - 1 KDR in a GvG unranked match in guildwars 1

being the only person i know who has completed EVERY QUEST in a single guildwars campaign. to this day i know of nobody with even 1 campaign done. folks claim im psycho for pulling it off. (as a sort of rational i did do the 2nd shortest one (factions) but i digress)

I have a few:

1) I have beaten all five Elder Scrolls Games

2) I have beaten Total Recall on the NES. No word of a lie. Many times.

3) I have beaten Double Dragon on the NES without a Game Genie. Many times.

4) I have played and beaten all three Hunter: The Reckoning games. And own them.

5) I acquired Syndicate for the SNES. It took me five years to find an NTSC copy.

That is all that I can think of for now.

Beating Streets of Rage 2 on Mania difficulty
Beating Batman for the Genesis on Hard difficulty
Beating Halo 1-3 on legendary difficulty by myself, and also with a partner for 1 and 2
Beating Gears of War on Insane difficulty
Becoming a Pokemon Master for gen 1
Completing the Perfect Run in Super Mario Galaxy 2
Ranking consistently within the top 30-40 in Sonic Generations for Modern Planet Wisp and without using any glitches

you are required to get a perfect score or roughly 10 BILLION points. to put things in perspective the average enemy hands out 10-100 points. mini-bosses are about 8,000 or less. when you do this you unlock boss battle mode and bonus round mode. you also unlock the sound booth and every enemy you swallow from that point on in that save file is a 1up

this took me well over a year of casual play to achieve

mind you the game isnt particularly hard. a competent gameboy era platforming player can faceroll it relatively easily

Beating Crisis Core: Final Fantasy VII.The final boss fight in that game is BRUTAL. He has so much freaking HP, it seemed like no matter how many times I hit him with a burst limit attack, I wasn't damaging him. And then there's a second phase to it! That pissed me off because I worked my ass off to beat the first phase. But I somehow still managed to beat the second phase on my first try. It also has the saddest ending in video game history. What an great plot. The game is a work of art.

Beating Catherine. It's another very difficult game. It has a superb plot and a great ending. (Depending on your karma meter.)

Paying off all my debts in Animal Crossing.

Reaching level 85 in World of Warcraft.

Beating Shadow of the Colossus. The game is a work of art and it has a very interesting ending.

Beating Casltevania and Ninja Gaiden on the NES. Both took me about 4 years.
