Any instance of hacking or prepubescent children spurting profanity into a microphone.LiftedHeadshotEven though you can mute, I find it really distracting and irritating the way people (especially kids) rant over speaker. I'm all for a bit of competition, but some people just take it a bit too seriously.
[QUOTE="KillerWabbit23"]Problems with lag? When I play online on SSBB the whole thing goes in super extra slow motion...Super Smash Bros. Brawl. God, that was absolutely terrible.
Sazhm
That, and half the time nobody was playing or everyone had a habit of disconnecting if it took more than 10 seconds to load. -_-
I second that, and one up you with a blurry tv.for me is black ops and modern warfare 2........
killzonexbox
Playing bad company 2 and totally owning everyone when my connection goes. Any connection loss is the worst for me
playin cod4...it was my fav server but no admins were there and this dude was runnin a m60 with acog and deeper impact and stopping power...and an aimbot on killhouse...so he was gettin head shots thru walls on spawn...it was quite annoyin...
the other day i was playing black ops on ps3and joined a lobby with 50 someseconds to go and when it got to 5 seconds left it would say lobby closed. it kept doing it all day lol. today was the first day i could play it in over a week lol. i kept getting closed lobbies right as the match was starting. then when i did get in you would see that dreaded either net unplugged symbol so all the xp was for nothing. i wish i could get my money back for black ops
Modern Warfare 2. Playing online when that game came out and a large part of the community took things way too seriously.
Far Cry 2. I bought it on release day for like £30 and the multiplayer was absolutely amazing. Seriously one of the best ever, such intense battles. And then about two months later it was infested with lag problems (which made sniping a total joke), griefers and elitist high level jerks who kicked anybody who wasn't max level from the servers. It also became incredibly unbalanced. If you unlocked the auto grenade launcher and knew how to use it, you were virtually indestructible. I traded FC2 back in for about £19 which wasn't too bad now I think about it. It's a dead shame though, I really enjoyed it to begin with.
[QUOTE="SteveTabernacle"]Every second of every online game I ever played was terrible, because all the people playing were terrible people, on XBL and PSN alike.sydstoner

FIFA 10's Be a Pro mode was pretty frustrating.
Firstly, you had a 5 minute time limit to join Team One or Team Two, then press X to "Ready up". People would wait for the entire five minutes before picking a side in the last few seconds, or even worse were the ones who picked a side but didn't "Ready up".
Then you had to pick your position. Everybody wants to bea striker, so you have to wait another five minutes because they refuse to pick another position, in the vain hope that the guys playing as striker will get bored of waiting and leave.
Then, when the game finally starts, everybody in defence decides to BE a striker, leaving their goal completely unprotected. I gave up trying to be a midfielder in the end since I usually ended up all on my own trying to stop the goals flying in.
FIFA 11 reduced the five minutes to about twenty seconds, which made things a whole lot better.
