When will there be a game like Resident Evil: San Andreas???

C`mon, wouldn`t it be cool? :D Just think about it - a map like in GTA:SA, thousands of zombies and other monsters... you and your friends.. trapped (or maybe not?) in the city swarmed with monsters.. you can use cars, bikes etc.. ram hordes of zombies, smash them, crush them.. mmm... get out of the city, get a harvester, return to the city and drive through the main street and harvest juicy meat :D .. get on a building and snipe `em... get a chainsaw... get a f***ing TANK!

Any other ideas?

A sandbox style survival horror game with an explorable major city that isnt so linear and small like RE games would be cool.

Nobody as of yet has managed to capture the feeling of what an outbreak or epidemic would be like in real life. Its always closed in on an island somewhere that nobody cares about.

Isnt Left for Dead gonna be like that?

Yeah! Imagine Racoon City swarmed with thousands of zombies, dogs, cats, rats, pigeons, parrots, mad squirrels :D !!! You gen in a car, drive through zomby crowds till you`re stuck, get out of the car in the middle of army of hungry zombies.. now that`s what i call a survival horror! Oh, did i mention the gattling gun? You get out of the car and use your gattling gun to clear your escaping route.. mmm... :D

As far as I know, Left4Dead is more a 'Get from point A to point B' style game. I think there's more than one way to get to it, and it's not completely linear. But it's far from free roam. At least, that's what I've gathered.

Left for dead will be smaller than what i had in mind. And they didn`t mention cars. I like oldschool zombies better - slow, dumb and hungry for your brain, not those "28 days later" beasts, like - since when can zombies (?) move faster than a living creature? Are they not dead and rotten? But anyways i think Left for dead will be a cool game. So will RE5.

Just turn on the everybody hates CJ cheats on in San Andreas, if you do the everybody has weapons cheat aswell and the no police cheat it can be pretty fun trying to get from one side of the map to the other on foot.ONLYDOD

Yeah, but with GTA:SA crappy graphics and crappy physics it just isn`t as fun. And people in GTA spawn again and again and that kinda sucks, it would be better if you could feel that the streets are less crowded after hours of zombie killing :) . You could say - "Yeah, i killed everybody in this god forsaken town :D!" .. And if the bodies would never dissapear, mmm :D ... nice:twisted: ..

Your answer to your question is simple, play Dead Rising, one of the best games this gen so far.
