When you see a new review up, what do you look for?

other than the score, what do you look for in a review on game websites? i for one just see what these critics complain about and see if i can tolerate that flaw, such as laggy online play in a certain game etc.

I look for things which I hate in a game in the review.. like if the reviewr mentioned that the game has qte that's a minus for me so the chances I'll be getting it are smaller and so on. If there were many things which I don't like in this game I don't buy it.

lol it's ok... it's when buttons pop up on screen usually during a cut-scene and you have to tap those buttons.

First thing I look at is who the review was written by, and if it's by a reviewer I have consistantly agreed with....there is one particular reviewer over at IGN, mainly IGN PC, that I have found I can trust since his reviews writeups and scores have consistantly matched my own experience with various games.

Second thing I look for is if the game has a great story or if the single player is engaging in any way....since I'm mainly a single player gamer who leans towards story based games.
