Personally I go to gametrailers. I like theier reviews but they are very 360 favoured. Other than that I go to Metacritic. Its the easiest way to see the very best games. Look at the score for Reach, Mass effect 2 and super mario galaxy 2

Depends. I usually check few gameplays so see if I will like it and read/watch a reveiw from IGN/Gamespot
IGN, 1Up and Joystiq mainly. I haven't been able to find anyone on GS that I agree with or enjoy reading thus far. Either way they rarely impact on my purchase decisions :)
I read Finnish game magazines like Pelit (Games) and Pelaaja (Player) and then there's Gamespot too ;)
All of those three have very good, well written and reliable reviews.
Gamespot could be enough alone for reading reviews and it's free, but I just love to read things from magazines. It just has that certain feeling, that I can't quite explain 8)
Honestly, I don't spend too much time reading reviews. I love Gamespot's "Good/Bad" bit at the beginning of every review, and I'll usually read those for any game I'm interested in. But beyond that, I might look at the GameRankings score, but I don't really read reviews.
I found Gamespot "Good/Bad" well made but for a few times.
I try to jump around. If the olympic game need more than one person to judge a contest then so does the game.
I do not listen tox-play with their JRPG are on the scale of 1 to 3.5 stars but say it is out of 5 stars.
Yahtzee Croshaw. He is the only "professional" reviewer out there who I pay any attention to... because he isn't trying to sell his opinion as some quantifiable fact, and tells it like he sees it. I may disagree with him on many things (and don't make buying decisions based on any reviews) but that doesn't mean I don't enjoy his reviews any less. He points out things most reviewers just gloss over or outright forget about, and concentrate only on blind praise.
I like him too, but he seems to be a victim of his own success. He is known as that fast talking guy who hates everything, and it shows. He has praised like two games total, the rest he just rips to shreds. I know there are a lot of bad games mixed in with the good, but he just makes it a point to nit pick every negative thing he can and hype them up.
I lost alot of respect for Gamespot in last 4 years (alot of rushed reviews, lack of reviews, copy paste treatment of reviews, low editor count). I personally go just about everywhere including reading through magazines to going too 20-30 websites. I'm oldschool. I never base a games worth by looking at a score or by a few reviews. I don't look at metacritic scores outside of knowing people who reviewed a game and usually go through most reviews before deciding on a game.
Either Gamespot or IGN for me. But I usually pay more attention to the player reviews than the actual paid reviewers as it were. I find if you take a look at a good amount of the bad player reviews along with the good for any particular game, and take a gander at the paid review. You can usually get a pretty good idea of what to expect. I find relying on any one review for a game, whether its professional or not to be a bad idea though.
I don't trust any review sites anymore since devs are paying for good reviews now *cough* rockstar. I just find out for my self if the game was worth it or not, and so far, haven't had any buyers remorse yet. I can't trust player reivews either because there are too many biased hurr durr fan boys or people just hate the game because it's an exclusive or hate the genre.
I read almost every review I come across. Unless a review contains spoilers (as Gametrailers' reviews tend to) there is no harm in hearing someone else's opnion.
