Where should the next GTA be after this one?

I would be all for that! Bring back CJ and Vercetti in the modern era in their hometowns, love it.

It should be in Hong Kong! Just think about it.....the Triads.....the fighting....awesome!

Though the only time GTA went international was with GTA London......that was wayy back....still better than the Getaway imo :D

Personally I'd like to see one set in Japan with Yakuza. It would be especially cool if it took place shortly after WWII, when America was still there helping rebuild Japan. An early 1960s-ish Japan GTA would be incredible. It could be similar to the Yakuza Papers movies.rragnaar

It's funny you mention that because the Yakuza games sell really well in Japan, much more than GTA I think, even though GTA does sell there pretty well for a western game.

I wonder if GTA4 outsells Yakuza in Japan?

I think it's time for the GTA series to move off of US shores. I think it would be awesome if the next game took place it Vostok, a fictionalized version of Moscow and dealt with the Russian underworld.

I'd love to see a Tokyo setting. I'd also love to see San Anadreas on the new engine, with the focus on Las Venturas this time.

i reckon it should be in australia. specifically around the Gold Coast and Brisbane (its the 3rd biggest city in Oz for those that haven't heard of it).

i can gaurantee you that would be the most controversial game to ever be made. politicians would go insane. it would be a media frenzy.the controversy would be so huge,R* might just release online for free(due to it being banned) and southpark will have one of the best episodes for parodying the entire situation.

Except that no one outside of the US would buy it if it were that focused on current events in America.

Personally I would like one set in a major European city. London, Berlin, Paris, Moscow, I'm not too picky which, they would all be interesting locations.

And thats the real Belfast imagine what the could do if it was in a Gta game!!
