Where would you like GTA V to be located? London,Paris,LA,Tokyo,Compton ect ect. You can even inlcude the option to explore locations from previous titles such as Vice City,San Andreas,Liberty City we might even see a new City! I cant imagine the amount of things we will be able to do in GTA V.

Some of the places mentioned

UK (London,Glasgow,Manchester,Liverpool - Plenty of gangs, chavs, drug dealers ect.

Tokyo - Big city that never sleeps, Japanese gangs, girls, different culture.

Moscow (Russia) - Big bad gangs, underground

Any Eastern European Countries?

Any snowey countries? Has GTA ever seen snow yet?

Well I think it's more likely it will be in one of the fictional locations. So I would like for it to be back in Vice City, or just stay in Liberty City.

If they are going to do another fictional city, I think I would be most interested if they created a new city altogether instead of just doing another game in Liberty City, Vice City, or San Andreas.

I think it would be pretty cool if they chose a setting which reflected New Orleans.

The Pacific Northwest would be great IMO. Lots of area to explore, plus planes/boats/jet packs/ATVs/skiing, the possibilities are endless....

Whether you want to hear it or not GTA V will be NYC. All the numeric GTA games have been in NY, all the non-numeric games are in other cities.

If I had to pick someplace though I would choose New Orleans, Baltimore, or Washington D.C.

They've never been done in New York. They've been made in a fictional city called Liberty City.

100% on London Multicultural = Meaning plenty of gangs Triads, Mafia, Cockney gangsters, Yardies, tamil tigers, europeans and loads of more gangs! and then theres loads of smaller ones that are full of teenages with knifes, etc This would make for epic missions as you go among different gangs. Loads of back alleyways and great roads, I find GTA's roads atm to be very boring and generic, just loads of grids to me Thames river would be a great fast way around london to skip all the traffic. Underground system is very complex and more interesting than american cities. City airport, soho red light district, mayfair, etc Historical buildings don't exist in gta seeing as america is so young, london is rich in history I would love to see that being incorporated into the game. Guns - Massive variety as most people cannot buy guns legally they acquire them on the black market, uzis, glocks, mp5's, revolvers, crossbow I can go on and on but i will stop here, I just hope the next one isn't in america because im bored of that scene and most other people are aswell. Either london or somewhere in south east asia, nowhere else is interesting enough

Liberty City is based on NYC just like Vice City is Miami, Los Santos is Los Angeles, Las Venturas is Las Vegas, San Fierrois San Francisco.

I've been to Cairo, Egypt... and it's a Beautiful Huge Mega City with huge character, belly dancing and reckless driver who will not give you a chance to cross the road. So I'll recommend Cairo... Plus there will be an option to ride donkey and Horses

I want it to stay in America, just not in areas we've already been to. I'm hoping for the Midwest or New England, perhaps set in the 70s. Both regions could really work for that era. It's also gotta be something in the vein of San Andreas, with multiple cities and a large variety of rural areas.

But we'll probably just get Vice City 2 or some crap like that.

It would be absolutely amazing if it would be set in a dystopian future, Blade Runner style :D But I suppose we always have Dues Ex Human Revolution for that, but never the less I would love to see Rockstar's vision of our future. I would have to say either one of the following, Brazil, Hong Kong or Middle Earth  jk jk. If it was one of the previous locations then it'd be Vice City.

I'd like an area based on Chicago with bits of St. Louis. They aren't too far apart, and GTA has never been in the midwest before.

The bottom of a dumpster. GTA IV completely ruined the GTA series and was a major step back. Yes, the graphics and physics were far superior to any other GTA game but the story was linear and unimpressive while the lackluster side missions (Bowling with your bro) left a sour taste in my mouth. The only savior for the game in my opinion was the multi-player which far exceeded my expectations.

The inner city of Chicago but the white people of St.Louis to make the game easy?

They should go all out and have you do missions between Chicago, Italy, Tokyo. Fly back and forth on a plane and have smuggling missions in airports and stuff.

This doesn't mean GTA should cease to exist, though. If anything, it shows that we need GTA V just so the series can redeem itself. I'm not saying GTA IV was necessarily a bad game, but like you I found it a massive step back after the prior title.

Tokyo sounds cool if true crime fails. Anyway. I am mostly interested in making use of the enviroments. Eg: san andreas had a very varied map with varied missions. Gta iv however.... yeah. They got to pick a location in which they can do more.

Same, i dropped the game and played other sandbox games instead. So deathborring story and generic characters. So simplistic missions, drive/shoot/date thats all.

It's got to be in the UK, as a spiritual successor to GTA London. I really want to see how Rockstar can rip-off the UK's atmosphere, since they've done it so well with the US in previous games.
