Where would you like to see GTA VI take place?

@Archangel3371: Apparently Rockstar were planning on making a GTA game based in Tokyo when Vice City and GTA III were in the making, Rockstar even carried out "reference trips" and some source's claim that "Rockstar has realised the difficulty in moving Grand Theft Auto outside of the USA, where it has firmly embedded itself. There are a number of series staples, from brands to cars, that Rockstar would likely have to change if a future GTA was set somewhere else" and i read somewhere else that rockstar would find it difficult to recreate Tokyo because of all the architecture and building's and they weren't able to accomplish that with the technology they had back then. Times have changed so maybe we will finally get a GTA game in Tokyo.

somewhere in europe (or a fictional place influenced by different european countries more than likely. how they interact with each other could be fun.).

I've always enjoyed Japan in video game settings. I think of course the game would revolve around the Yakuza, which GTA has already handled. I can a lot of potential in GTA: Tokyo.

Tokyo would be cool, but would it work as a GTA game?? Not sure.

If it's in the US again, I just hope it isn't LA or NY again. Maybe Miami... like a modern, more detailed Vice City.

Even though to my understanding Yakuza already tackles upon the crime world and mafia that exists in Japan, I would like to see Rockstar's approach on it too. Hence either Shanghai or Tokyo.

Also Rockstar did check on Tokyo awhile back but the project was canned.

@Jacanuk: I wouldn't take it too seriously myself either, it doesn't matter were you want any GTA game to be located because Rockstar is just going to go with what they want and what they think people would enjoy. Besides they haven't really let us down, i was just curious to see what city people would like to explore.

Las Vegas in the 1970s when the mob still ruled the city. It's the perfect setting for a GTA game that lends itself well for great stories, extracurricular activities, and atmosphere.

It could be called Grand Theft Auto: Sin City which is an awesome sounding title.

1930s LA.

Merge it with LA Noire, and fill the void left by Mafia 3.

Either that or *flame shield on* make it a future setting. Seriously, a GTA set in the future would be pretty dope; screw all this based in reality crap, let's just scrap everything and go balls to the wall awesome.

How about just give me GTA: U.S, were I can just go travel 50 States cause this whole staying in one single place is getting overdone and it's overstayed it welcome. I like to travel by plane, bus, or car to go from one State to another State is what I like to see Rockstar can do.

Ahh LA noire the LA that should have been in GTA V but never came, it´s hard to believe that Rockstar had a hand in that game and then ended up making LA so much worse.

Another vote for a Japanese country here! And another hope for GTA VI, please build upon the GTA 5 cheats Rockstar put in. San Andreas has so many more cool ones!

Outer space. Seriously, break it up on multiple planets. Have near-instant-travel via portals to different planets. Vice planet, full of drugs and hookers. Prude planet, which is full of a bunch of religious nuts that are also hypocrites. Redneck planet, full of gun-toting nationalists. Gangster planet. Hippie planet. Etc, etc...
