i hated how you had to have the remote for the xbox.
how is the PC last gen? they're still making new titles for it. and it's hard to say PC anyways because of the thousands of different dvd drives of varying quality.

the remote was worth it, because the xbox is much better quality, the ps2 was horrible.

Yeah, my PS2 skipped scenes randomly and barely worked at at all for some DVDs. this for me big time. went through 2 phat ps2's before a slim finally kept working till today!

The Panasonic reconbobbulator 3000 I've never heard of. The PS2 is arguably the only one with no bullmess. The problems you guys reporting? Never had them.

The PS2. Worked straight out the box and if you had problems 99% of the time you just had to clean the system. In fact as owner of multiple PS2's and XBOXES before finally learning how to fix them myself the xbox actually had more disc reading issues.
