When looking back at the generations up until this one, I think of all the great games, and all three areas have done their part. However, I think my order goes like this: U.S.A.>>>Japan>Europe>>>>>Everthingelse. So many great games from the start of time(of video games) till now.

Why would I put Canada in the U.S.A. when U.S.A. is not canada?

You opened a second thread so you could say "European countries" instead of "Europe", because someone pointed out Europe is not a country

I'd say Europe and the USA put out the best games. Japan titles I don't find appealing (with the exception of Demon's Souls/Dark Souls this gen).

I can't say I get hung up on what country releases what games and how they fare against another country's games. I just want to play good games, regardless of where they came from.

Would those games run well on integrated graphics?:| I believe "market" or "region" would have been better words to use rather than country as Europe is a continent.

looking at my collection it's mostly North America > Europe > Japan / Asia

the only one i'd criticize really is Japan for some really lackluster games, nevermind that they're pumping out fewer games for the big platforms, keeping even a lot of the handheld games in the local market only. Compared to the gens where i was a child Japan has fallen pretty far from on high.

Well, for me, there are great games from all over that I like; but I suppose if I to base it on just looking at my OWN collection--I'd say 90% of it is from JPN. So I suppose that's what I favor. But as of late I've seen some pretty cool things out of EU/UK based and US (Canada included, if you count Ubisoft) devs are slowly becoming a bit better too (love ND and Sony Santa Monica)--when they're not drowning us in FPS sh!t.

each one has their different strengths and weaknesses, Japan is a lot more experimental with their stuff, but horrible at marketing, Western companies in general play it much safer, less experimental and stick to a certain amount of a formulaic safety net, much better at marketing and streamlining production to a "milking" pace and providing the content to a multitude of platforms, while Japanese companies will spend all this time making a game only to produce a single port that won't sell well and they scratch their heads wondering why the cool stuff they make never catches on as quickly as it could if they had a broad multiplatform release Japanese publishers do seem more forgiving of developers that fail to produce blockbuster hits right away, while Western devs seems eager to can a studio if they fail to make a phenomenal amount of money despite the quality of their games, it's all about the commercial success

Japan > North America tied with Europe.

I love Japanese games, the devs have some good yet crazy ideas that seem to go well but sad thing they dt sell all well due to marketing but there very fun to play. and North American games, there good not all catch my eye and i feel that western games in general are losing quality, but there are a good amount of good on the western side of gaming.
