Might be a bit odd questions but, I thought it would be interesting to ask this. Since USA and Japan are basically the most known creators of games and the countries that instantly pop up in people's head. What games made in Europe have you ended up liking? Below are some of my favorites

Inside - Playdead (Denmark)
Rise of the Triad remake - Slipgate (Denmark)
Hitman Absolution - IO Interactive (Denmark)
The Surge - Deck 13 (Germany)
Velvet Assassin - Replay Studios (Germany)
007 Blood Stone - Bizarre (UK)
Split/Second - Black Rock (UK)

You forget GTA series is British, therefore European. And at the time of writing, still a member of the European Union.

Probably Rare. I enjoy their history of games and I like Sea of Thieves.

No. As said, my list is of my favorites. I can't list games that I haven't played nor which are not my favorites. "Favorite" means exactly that, a favorite

Quite a lot actually. Tend to prefer European games over anything made in North America. It's why when someone previous brought up Western games. Versus Japan I couldn't help find that thread funny; because the OP of that thread wasn't confident enough to just put NA V JPN. Europe also was the second best market for games like DkS and MH so they have pretty good taste as well.

Anyway here is my list-

Divinity: Original Sin II (Belgian)

Dungeon Keeper/ War for the Overworld/ Tearaway/ Little Big Planet 2/ Worms 2: Armageddon (England)

Lemmings (Scotland)

Tetris (Russia)

*I like some American games before someone takes offence ツ

When I think of European developers, I immediately think of RARE and the great games that they created in the 90s such as Donkey Kong Country and Goldeneye 007.

Remember Me (France)

Sacred (Germany)

Perfect Dark/Goldeneye/Jet Force Gemini (Rare./UK/England)

Trine (Norway/Sweden)

Blood Omen (Cand er Canada)

Metroid Remake (Spain)

Not much Greek or Italian representation but perhaps I Just missed them and that's all.

Wekll or any number of other countries... but yeah over the years I've come to enjoy any number of video games from Europe.

Yeah that's how it started with me as well... I pretty much associate early video games with Rare big time... especially as a child of the 90s big Goldeneye sesssions all together

and stuff.

Another one that comes to mind is Argonaught Games. They developed Malice. (Not a very well known title though.)
