Half-lifeJawsh12
Nothing against Half-Life at all, but I don't think it's plot would be half as interesting outside of the way it is presented in the game. Not that it would be a horrible film in every way, just that it would almost certainly be a step down from the game.
I wouldn't mind a BioShock, Assassin's Creed or Devil May Cry film. All of them have a decent story to work with, if they can make a Hitman film, they can make anything. :|Sharvie
Halo, Gears of War, Bioshock, The Darkness, Max Payne,Splinter Cell, Mass Effect, Assassins Creed, F.E.A.R.
Doom
Oh wait they already did that and it turned out really bad
What a shame...

Since most game to movie screen turn out like Doom, I cautiously would say that a Bioshock or System Shock 2 movie would be rather cool, but in reality would be really bad.
I think either Metal Gear Solid or MGS3 would make great movies. The original Resident Evil SHOULD have been a great movie, but instead they decide to simply "borrow" from the plotline of the video game rather than remain faithful to it, and in my opinion butchered the as a result. God of War could be an interesting action flick if they cast Kratos well. I'd love to see a Zelda movie done by the likes of Peter Jackson. After bringing the Lord of the Rings trilogy to life in splendid detail, I could see him doing justice to the Zelda franchise. Eternal Darkness could make for a hell of a horror film, but the many split plotlines and characters might not make for the best movie. The Killzone franchise has an interesting premise and backstory which could make for another entertaining action flick.
There really are plenty of video games that have great movie potential, but until the people making these movies care about more than just the bottom dollar, the translations will continue to be lackluster. We need someone with a real emotional attachment to the game to be a part of the creation of its movie, but that almost never happens. :(
