the panasonic 3do , wow great system expesive as hell , but great systme it was 2 yearls early that playstation 3d gaming it has so many great some theirs games ported to playstation and saturn is also greatest franchise racings road and tracks present the need for speed. started on 3do anothers great console is dreamcast finaly online gaming on consoles and lots arcades ports the psp great multimedia device, lots great games,
Three of my favourite consoles... sega saturn.. sega dreamcast.. nintendo gamecube. Though the peeps who actually take the time to play them know they are pretty damn epic.

Yeah even with games like Metroid Prime and Wind Waker it is not one of the best received consoles at all. Still the lack of online(other than a few games) really killed it last gen.
Sega Master System. Does not get anywhere near the credit it deserves. A superb console with a fantastic library and many of the greatest 8 bit games you'll ever play. I really feel sorry for all you Americans. Over here the Master System was popular for years, but it seems most Americans dont even know of its existence. You missed out on some really great games. I'm sure if you ask most European gamers who were around during the 8 bit generation, most will say the same thing. Most underrated Sega console by far.
First off, 3DO was not a Panasonic console. They produced some of them (along with Goldstar and Sanyo), but they were simply contractors. The system was designed and supported by the 3DO Company. Agreed. Never actually owned a Dreamcast but it did deserve better praise. Still got a Gamecube, just packed away cuz we've got a Wii now. The irony is i bought the Wii for my wife, and now she prefers GC games instead because all the pointing & motion controls of Wii games got old real fast. El, oh, el.
Did you guys read the title? He said "unrated" consoles, not "underrated". And I don't think it was a typo, because he mentioned 3DO in his first post, which is indeed an unrated system. It has some pretty gory stuff going on in some of the FMV DVDs, and it has adult (as in nudity and sex) games and FMV movies on it.
