Which game was the hardest for you? And why? Are you playing this game now? Maybe you finished it and forget like a nightmare?
Actually i was repeating my favorite GTA in the series " San Andreas " it was now my 5th time playing it. now i'm having a hard time finishing some of the mission currently i was taking my mind of it a lil bit before i started playing the game again later.
I am having a nightmare on the mission were you need to fly a remote control rc plane and destroyed thosed delivery bans before the time is running out and your fuel to which is found very annoying and frustrating everytime you failed it and repeat it again over and over again.
Even with the cheats are on i can't even make a progress on it since the controls in pc are keyboard its way more harder to control but since i don't have Joystick or controller i having a hard time.
The mean reason why i repeating and having patience to play this game repeated even i lose all of shit on it is the nostalgia and for the sake of my childhood and also this is the only GTA game in series i find challenging than those GTA games these days.
TR legend (finished it) : took me 2 years without a ps2 memory card and a new psp system to decipher the puzzles and complete the game.
I've beaten Dark Souls games, I've beaten Monster Hunter games, I've beaten Mega Man games. I'd like to consider myself no stranger to difficulty...but I've NEVER been able to even get past the very first level of Ghosts 'N Goblins. That game just marries difficult and unfair into an unholy amalgam that just should not be.

Last game that really pushed me was The Evil Within Akumu mode, which I still beat and then went back for more clean playthroughs.
Hardest from memory was probably the infamous double Apex Rajang in Monster Hunter 4G. It's no joke, and took me close to three months of attempts to come over that hurdle.
Played and finished a few others like Devil May Cry 3 (Dante Must Die), Super Meatboy (Dark World), and Ninja Gaiden: Black (Master Ninja).
*Dark Souls are great games but not as difficult as the above. If anything I think it gets over-exaggerated from Gamers that have gotten too cosy with modern titles like Uncharted/ Assassins Creed/ Batman/ etc. PvP is ultimately the main cause of difficulty increase in DkS games.

I hate this mission I own both the PS2 version and the Steam one I could of swore that they patch the Steam version to make it easier because I replayed it a couple of years ago and it didn't seem as hard like it did on the PS2.
Two come to mind; both on PS2. Medal of Honor Frontline and GTA3. All of the PS2 GTAs are tricky but I'd give special mention to GTA3 because of how OP the Columbians with the AKs were. You could have full health and armour, and they finish you in seconds. I ended up sniping in a lot of the missions.
I eventually got one to the point where I was fully defended from goblin sieges, somehow blockaded myself from Forgotten Beasts, and had plentiful food, alcohol, and other supplies. I also had too many migrants. So I built a giant dug-in gladiatorial arena, trapped a butt-ton of goblins, and selected the most worthless dwarves. I stripped the dwarves of weapons and armor, made them militia, and sent them to attack the goblins in the arena. It was pretty cool, but then I quit the fortress when my 50-something level pump stack failed to work after hours of set up to make a huge magma moat. I'll try again eventually.https://inro.in/showbox/https://inro.in/mobdro/https://inro.in/tutuapp/
Surprisingly to most and me as well, still standing likely the two hardest gaming experience I have had is in
1. Wurm when I entered a populated server and tried to make it on my own despite the spiders having been overpopulated because the server was so old.
2. Green Hell before the latest changes because everything can kill you and you cant see it, like a real rainforest

Hmm, hardest.
Dark Souls , FPS mp online games but no game has ever been to hard.
Just takes a bit of getting used to and training.
Tomb raider 2 was a great game my fav in the older series of games but as a kid it was fairly difficult.
@robert_sparkes: I finally beat it as an adult, and it was quite difficult at times, but it is one of my favorite games ever. I've started quest to beat the rest of them, I just kept holding out hope for remasters of all 9 old versions, so people can remember how great it always has been, and that the new TR games are similar in so many ways.
The more I play older games the more I realize how much better I got. I don't know what happened, but I can beat a ton of stuff that I failed miserably with as a kid and teen. Castlevania 1 was really hard, even now it was, I didn't look up shit despite people telling me if you memorize everything its a breeze, but after getting to end thinking I'm good, I took maybe 50 tries against Dracula, ever since I've been trying to beat every Castlevania game.
Lost Odyssey. I kinda enjoy jRPG games because of the stories, but I always have a hard time with the battles. I've tried Lost Odyssey two times, but I always give up on the same boss.
@wecica: For me too! I always get stuck on the same place. Still haven't finished it.

Hmm nice
Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter ( both parts ). It's a very hard game coz minimal level of difficulty=hardest level of it. And enemies they can appear in any place and any time. And u must always watch tactical map ( but it not always show them )
