Which game will last longer in the future? Street Fighter or Mortal Kombat? (No biased answers please)

Although Street Fighter is the better fighting game in my opinion.
When playing with friends on the couch Mortal Kombat has been the all time favorite and I don't see that changing anytime soon.
And l'll be honest if I would have to choose between the both games when push comes to shove I would choose Mortal Kombat over Street fighter for that reason.
Because there is nothing better than beating your friends and finishing them off with fatality.

If you already asked another forum and they almost all said SF have you thought that maybe they aren't biased but that was just their opinions? What exactly makes them biased?

I love both series, and have been playing both since they came out way back in the early 90s. IMO SF has the edge, the gameplay and controls are just burned into gamers minds, when you think of fighting games most think of SF first. MK was a novelty for a long time, its a legit fighter now but I think SF just has the name power to keep on going.

I voted MK XL just because the game is complete. The day Sony kill the online part of the PS4, you could buy MK XL from a retro game store and could enjoy everything but the online match.

If you buy SFV from a retro game store once Sony kill the online part of the PS4 ... you have a door stop...

If we talk about the game play. I find MK more satisfying than Street Fighter. It is always fun to finish your opponant. There is also the WOW factor that Street Fighter Lacks and of course there is a lot of mode in MK that is absent of Street Fighter.

I'd go with Street Fighter. I find it to be the better fighting game in balance and mechanics and it's still the gold standard in the fighting game genre.

I think that no answer is neutral.

In my view, Street Fighter is more marketable for it not having gore.
