Which game would you say is the hardest to find?

This is not including Ebay, Amazon, I'm talking about in a store :P

I would have to sayResident Evil Dead Aim for PS2, I don't know what it is with me and this game, ever since I rented it for the first time I was like this game is awesome, and I want to buy it, but at the time 40 bucks (ehh no thank you it will drop eventually) but it wasn't until 5 years later I found this game used with the case and booklet, and CD in great condition for only 14.99 at Gamestop

Gamecube's Pokemon Box, it was good gift game. It sold in exclusive Nintendo World Store, former Pokemon Center at New York City.

This, Chrono Trigger and FF6 can be tough too, but Earthbound is the most difficult by far.

Rare to find in a store? Yes. Is it rare when you go online? No. The assumption that it is a rare game needs to be killed. It's never been rare no matter what the price can go up to. --- However, a really rare find would be a complete American release of Panzer Dragoon Saga on the Sega Saturn...

Normally I buy old games online, but every time I go into a used game store I cross my fingers for Duck Tales 2 for NES. I know I can buy it from Amazon, but a tiny gnome tells me I'll someday find it in a heap of cartridges, crammed between Bad Dudes and Hydlide with a 75-cent sticker on it.

Anything at all for my TurboGrafx-16. The only place I can go to find those games is Ebay or Amazon. I've never even seen one in my area except for the ones I own.

As for a specific game, probably Panzer Dragoon for Sega Saturn. I found it on Craigslist, and the guy never emailed me back. I ordered it once, and the guy couldn't find it that I ordered it from. I ordered from someone else and I got a Japanese copy that was useless to me. It was the fourth time that I finally got a working, U.S. copy of Panzer Dragoon.

You and I think alike. I almost put that but then I thought that Panzer Dragoon Saga would be a little harder to find. The Netlink Edition is really difficult to find though. It is one of the rarest Saturn games.

Are you talking about illegally downloading games on the internet? Discussion of this illegal activity is not permitted on this site. Just giving you a heads up. So anyways I know for sure a game that is SUPER RARE to find the NBA 2-Ball demo disk that fans recieved at the At the 1998 NBA All-Star Game, its a total crap game but sold a lot, I think there are only like 2 copies that survived.

Why would he be worried about price if he was talking about d/l games?

Well, if we're talking about games we eventually found (some games only exist in a few copies, those would probably be the hardest to find), I'd say it took the longest to get the three holy grails of cult gaming of the PS2 era (I use that term lightly :P): Ico, Beyond Good and Evil and Eternal Darkness: Sanity's Requiem. It took about a year of visiting the store with used games (the only one in the country, mind) to find Ico for $40. Further two years of repeated visits resulted in me finding Eternal Darkness and Beyond Good and Evil for about $30. Rather pricy, but that's cheap here whereI live.
