In regards to the topic, which kind of games have made you shed a tear? Eligable games in particular can be on any platform, share your poignant stories related to what ever game that you consider touching/affecting.
None because I don't cry over things that aren't real. But I really felt so sad in Okami when Issun would leave Ammy before entering the final area.skp_16
none. i haven't found a game yet that got me emotionally attatched to it. i wish i could, i would love to escape reality and play a game where i really feel for the character.

Um... I may be strange, but I have never shed a tear over a video game... but I do cry everytime I see Star Treck II: The Wrath of Khan..... Everytime I hear KHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAANNNNNNNNNNNNN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I break down... gets me every time...
FF7 springs to mind....the stroy of reds dad is really a tear jerker imho.

oh...also the intro to freespace 1. not tears of sadness mind but terror. incredible sequence right there. its on youtube. turn up the volume and if ure cheeks are dry afterwards then theres something with u :P.
There is this scene in Phantasy Star Universe 1 for ps2 where this robot/cast person is out in the wilderness or something and it is waiting for its owner to come back when in all likelyhood they are dead. That got me. Im playing FFCC: Ring of Fate on DS and there are some cool moments in it.
I cry all the time during movies and stuff. In fact movies and games are like the only times I can connect with my emotions. In real life I just dont feel anything in any situation.

ehh, nope. actually 7 i couldnt get into, and 8 i lost my saved file on the memory card and havent had the chance to restart. 10 i beat and it didnt do much for me.
It was so sweet of Jack to take in all those Little Sisters and raise them so they can live normal lives. Too bad he died in the end. Unfortunately they probably won't make a Bioshock2. It was such a beautiful sight when all the Sisters reunited at Jack's death bed. I loved it.

BioShock 2, eh? Although I agree, the good ending for BioShock made me feel a little emotional. The only other games that made me feel emotional was MGS3, Shenmue and Shadow of the Colossus.
Ico and Shadow of the Colossus. Both because there was a bit of sorrow in the stories, and because I hated that they were over. :( I hope to see a SotC 2 on the PS3.
Final Fantasy 10 ending and MGS2 & MGS3 ending becuase of the songs they played dueing the credits and because back when i beat MGS3 Kojima was pretty firm about not making a MGS4
I would say...I was emotionally attached to Tales of Symphonia, Ocarina of Time and a lot of games in the Final Fantasy series. It seems like a lot of RPGs are emotionally charged.

ive never actually cried, and only 2 games have ever choked me up. the japanese version of crisis core's ending was a moment, and radiata storie's fairy ending.
Mario Kart 64 when I first beat it. That was the first time I ever owned/beat a video game. Hey I was 8 years old, don't jump to conclusions.... As for these days, I don't think any game has really made me shed a tear. Movies on the other hand, I can name plenty that have caused me to do that.
