Which is the best D&D style game?

Well, I'm looking to get into these D&D sort of games and was wondering which of these is the best

Baldurs gate

BG 2

Icewind Dale

Icewind dale 2

and all the other D&D's that i missed out O_O

I think BG2 was the most popular of the bunch. It's the only one I played and I would reccomend it. I also vaguely recall ID series have some pretty big gameplay issues.
