The original, the modern, and the T.V. show are all the exact same costume. Just different artist drawing them.
One looks cartoony, one looks more realistic/cgi, and one looks like he is on steroids. Not sure about the same. I mean Zelda fans do this too, and in quite a few he has the same outfit.The original, the modern, and the T.V. show are all the exact same costume. Just different artist drawing them.

That's because of different artists drawing him. Most artists have different styles. But the costume is still the same and the guy in it is still the same character.
And I don't see any CGI on any of them. :?
I was sort of a fan of his design in Battle Network, but I don't think he could quite pull off that sword arm. Â They replaced his yellow scarf with flowing hair, and it came off to me as trying to put a character in the GBA series that would remind fans of Zero, which Protoman could not match up to design wise, or anyway else. Â So it sort of fell flat for me, but I do find his look at least somewhat appealing.
That said, I loved his older designs. Â They feel really iconic to me. Â
