in other words, alot of snes games were re released for a ton of other consoles so many people got to play them, but which console had the best games that were never re released and the only way to play those games was to search and buy them.

the saturn in japan, heck anything in japan now that i think of it a crapload of japanese ds and psp games never made it here.

I'd say the PS2/XBOX/GC era has the most un-re-released gems. So one of those.

I strongly believe most popular consoles have a ton of gems that are still exclusive, but because most of us have no idea what these exclusive gems are, we can't really say.

The SEGA Saturn has become massively popular with collectors, so a ton of info. has ben resurfaced regarding its library, and its exclusive games. But what about the PS1 or the PS2? Surely there must be a crap load of hidden gems on them that never got a re-release at least rivaling the Saturn's lineup of exclusive games and probably surpassing it, afterall, both had far more support.

Probably the Saturn, most of it´s gems never got re-released,apparently due to the saturn´s architecture that´s really hard to emulate. So,aside from the Saturn games that also got PC versions we ain´t gonna be seeing any of the classics like Panzer Dragoon Saga,Shining Force 3,Dragon Force, etc.

I would say SNES, mostly because of Earthbound and Secret of Evermore.

PS2 has a bunch, and Xbox has Republic Commando and KotOR I & II.

Every system has games that would be worthy of some kind of re-make, but in most cases it's best to let just the game exist as it does.

If I go pre PS2-era, I'd say Saturn or PS1. Saturn has a TON of non-rereleased games. But PS2 also has a lot of great games yet to be re-released, although there's a lot of HD collections being made now.

Turbografx-16 and Saturn?

I loved Valis and the really obscure Japanese games on Turbografx-16. Saturn has many hidden gems too like Dragon Force and Shining Force III. Neo-Geo had fantastic fighting games like the Last Blade too.

too bad I was only a little kid in the 90's and couldn't enjoy other consoles other than Nintendo's and then PlayStation. But thank god for emus! This is the only way to really preserve gaming if you ask me. I wish I could go back in time as an adult and buy all these consoles when they were released!

snes,   most of its best games are still exclusive to it -not talking about dkc mario or ff ,    but the racing games and other types ,

n64 would be a close second ,     ps1 had all of their exclusives already re released on psn so that wipes ps1 off,  and ps2 has games also re releasing on psn and on hd compilation same with some xbox games  . so ya gc would also be a candidate

The Saturn is pretty much the top one, though there´s a few other systems with great games never released in any other format.

Gue1

Oh yeah, that too.

In fact, I'd probably put that above my previous two choices (Master System and Saturn).
