I've been thinking about getting the PC version, my comp will be able to handle it and I like the option of installing user made plug-ins. But on the other hand I might get it for the 360, what I like about the 360 verson is its accessability. Its quick to pick up and play. What do you guys think? What platform are you getting it on?

Considering that 1) the game is being made by the same people that brought us Oblivion and 2) it was announced as a project very recently it would probably be a wise idea to get it for the PC. Not only will you get faster updates to fix problems (there will be problems, it's almost guaranteed) but you will get access to community modifications, which as shown with Oblivion, can improve the game to a level that is far better than the original release version.

1) PC because of Mods

2) 360 - if you don't have PC at least you can get the DLC that is 360 and PC only

3) PS3

Asking my personal opinion?

Xbox 360, because of the excellent online system and the achievements.

see as Fallout 3 has 0 minutes of online play, I don't see why an online system would fit in with the pros and cons.

Personally I'm going for the PS3 version, something about the game just shouted console version to me.

Sure I might miss out on some user mods but oh well.

I have a PC and a 360 and I'm going with the 360.

I'm definitely going to miss the mods, I used them a lot in Oblivion. However I had some issues running Oblivion on my computer, and since I haven't upgraded it at all I'm assuming I'll have similar issues with Fallout 3.

If you have a decent computer, go with the PC version. Otherwise I'd go with either of the console versions for the simplest start up.

I'm getting the PC version for the mods. I just bought a wired X360 controller just in case that kind of control works better than mouse/keyboard (considering it was built with consoles in mind as well as PCs).

FYI, the pc version will have achievements. And really, a console online system can't touch that of a pc, unless you truly enjoy being limited on where you can go and how you can navigate.

Probably wants to use the in-game chat to talk to friends and brag about blowing heads up.
