which ps1 game has the best graphics

i choose gt2 because of the car detail and pictures of cars and parts

FFVII's graphics were far from great if you look at it now... Chrono Cross had some nice visuals though

Final Fantasy VIII and IX, the Tony Hawk games and Chrono Cross.

"Reel Fishing" and "Pandemonium", hands-down. "Pandemonium" especially, rocks the graphic punch of the system to the limit. If you haven't played the secret platformer sensation of the PSOne, you GOTTA. No kidding.

I think it was Tekken 3.

I played MGS1 last year. It looks bad, very bad. On the other hand crash bandicoot 1-3 still looks amazing.

Did it really look that bad?I thought it had some amazing detail.Still it's a matter of personal preference.Crash bandicoot has cartoon like graphics whereas MGS has a more realistic look, but yeah the Crash bandicoot games do look great.

Best I personally have played would be from FFVIII.

final fantasy 7 and 8

FF8s graphics in the opening scene pushed the ps1 to its max.

when i worked at blockbuster back in the day we would play that opening scene to make sure a ps1 was working good.

...FFVII?! XD Dude, that game's graphics were among the WORST...but anyways, I voted FFVIII or FFIX, they both look purdy. =D
