PC: I'm going to build a gaming rig and use the PC as one of my primary platforms.
PS4: Day One Purchase.
XBONE: I'm actually leaning towards a resounding NO. I really don't like anything about this system outside of the software and the only way I'd consider a purchase is if the exclusives are simply too good and plentiful to pass up.
Wii U: No Unless the software situation radically shifts and the system receives a serious price reduction, I would be more likely to nab an XBONE than the WiiU.
It's looking like next gen is going to be PC and Sony all the way for me personally.
well i already have a vita and 3DS so thats handhelds sorted for a while. i hope to be building a new PC sometime next year. i am waiting for the next versions of DDR and PCI-E to kick in...both next year i think. finances willing i am hoping to make it a money no object project. i also need a new monitor. wiiu- project X. i have to have it so thats a wiiu for me. Maybe a PS4 later in the gen...4-5 years from now. probably not going to go for an X1. android, windows mobile and IOS are non runners for me when it comes to gaming.
Just got my PC put together a couple of days ago. Loving it :D I'll probably get a PS4 next year sometime. Sony always has some exclusives I don't want to miss out on.
PS4 primarily. My laptop can run a few less graphically intense games, and I'm satisfied with it, but I do plan on putting a PC together in the future.
Wii U i'll consider if some more games head there. Not going anywhere near the X1.Â
Just the Quad for me. Contemplated going PC also, but just no need. I barely have enough time to game as is, so having multiple systems would be a waste of my funds.
Strictly PC. Since consoles moved from the D-pads to analog thumbsticks I've lost all interest in them. I know you guys love em, but I hate dual analog sticks. They feel wonky.
Replace just one of the sticks with a trackball and I'd be alright.
PC is the only certainty. Always has been, always will be. I usually supplement it with a single console, but that decision won't be made until at least two years post-launch. However, I can tell you that the only possibilities are PS4 or Xbox One.
Already got a 3DS. Plan to get a PS4 and Vita somewhere down the line. Also considering PC for the indie games (I'd need a better laptop than I have now though).
I might get a Wii U, but that all depends on what kind of games comes out for it later.
3DS, Wii U, and PS4 seems like more than plenty for the next few years. Just occurred to me that if this next one lasts as long as the current one, I could be pushing 40 when PS5 and Wii FU arrives.
I will be playing computer games and might buy a Sony PlayStation 4 on its day of release. Also, there are many video games of the Sony PlayStation 3 library I want to play for my first time, so I will be retro gaming. The Nintendo Wii U is a possible purchase for me if good games get released for it, but third party games are few for it which might mean I could only buy Nintendo's first party games. While Nintendo's first party games are usually good, I do not want a console without alternatives.
