Well, I'd say the Wii version. It's has the pointing controls, and while I don't like those controls, you will have the option of using a gamepad. So it's like the best of both worlds, even if you're like me and not into IR controls.

the PS2 is only worth buying for the extra content, so if between cube and PS2 go wih Cube, but the Wii would probably be best

I have the gamecube and I've played RE4 on it but I haven't played the PS2 or Wii version. The gamecube version got the highest score but the PS2 version has content that you can't get on the gamecube version.

I have all three versions of the game. And I think the Wii version is hands down the best version of the game. The controls work criminally well with the Wii Remote and Nunchuck. I had my doubts on how the controls would translate over, but they are solid. And out of the three versions, I found the PS2 version to be the worst. Aiming with the Dual Shock 2 analog simply sucks. While it has more content then the GCN version, the controls left a lot to be desired. But the game is playable.

Definitely Wii Edition. Even if you don't like the Wii controls, you can just switch to the GC controller if you want.

Ma'am.

And, yes, it is crazy.

But not as crazy as not owning any version of RE4, of course.

Wii version for sure. I loved it on my Wii, but really had no desire to play it on my GC.

They're all brilliant. ut, i'd opt for the Wii version with thenew/different controls and all, but the PS2 version is practically the same, but cheaper...just don't get the gamecube version...coz gamecube is 'kinda' sucky

Well, the Wii version is the most complete. However, I think that you can get the GC version dirt cheap. It IS getting old a bit, IMO.

One thing to keep in mind about the Wii version is that if, for some strange reason, you don't like the Wii controls, you can play the game with a GC or Classic controller. Effectively then you have the GC version with all of the extras. However, I don't know of anyone who doesn't like the Wii controls yet, aside from those who say it takes away some of the challenge. The Wii version will at most be $30 US, so it's already at a budget price.

That is crazy, sir.

Ma'am.

And, yes, it is crazy.

But not as crazy as not owning any version of RE4, of course.

I couldn't help it, I wanted to play Separate Ways. But the PS2 controls annoyed me to no end. By the time I unlocked SW, I didn't even want to look at the PS2 version anymore. So glad that the Wii version came out the way it did. The game is more fun then ever.

I can relate to every word of that. Except I didn't buy the PS2 version, I played my roommate's copy.

The Wii version is my personal favorite. The excellent graphics of the gamecube version, the extra content of the PS2 version and the superb motion controls all in one is a great deal considering it's $30.:)

:)Hope I helped.
