Who Do You Think Should Play Lara Croft In the Movie Reboot?

It's been a while since we've had a Tomb Raider movie, but it would seem that we might not have much longer to wait for the next one. The Tracking Board has reported news about the reboot of the film series that is currently in development.

The project is a collaboration between four companies and three directors are rumoured to be under consideration.

The previous two Tomb Raider films--2001's Lara Croft: Tomb Raider and 2003's Tomb Raider: The Cradle of Life--starred Angelina Jolie but this begs the question. Who would play Lara Croft in this reboot?

I think that Kate Beckinsale would be an excellent Lara Croft.

@GameSpot: If you ask me, Jennifer Lawrence should play Lara Croft role. Everything I seen from her in The Hunger Games is as close to a Lara Croft as ever.

Holy crap, yeah she does. However, I didn't think Angelina was a great Lara so I wouldn't pick someone based on a resemblence to her.

As for the vote, I have no idea. To me Lara is still that polygonal undedeveloped character from the old PC days so pretty much insert anyone with some charisma who generally resembles a brunette human woman.

My top 2 choices are Daisy Ridley or Kaya Scodelario since they are of the right age to portray the new Lara.

I think it should be Marie Avgeropoulos from THE 100, she has that rough bitch face Angelina played so well that I dont think anyone on the list will play as well. Also her character in the 100 is so strong and independent and fierce she just came to mind. Lol
