Yeah it was real fun.
At first i didn't like the controls but l later on realized that it was best for the horror situation.
lost of frights, ah love it.
I like it but I don't love it. I'm vindictive of the change of gameplay style. Or should I say genre? It went from survival horror to action horror :*( Less scares, less paranoia, but lots of tension. Is a great action game and my favorite part was everything up until the castle & the cult. Then it seemed like it started getting cheesey.
The game in general kinda felt like it wasn't focusing on the main plot line from the other installments and I didn't care for that.
Yay, I have all 3 versions too, and the worst one is the PS2 version (though I've never tried the infamous pc version). The PS2 version looks bland, but the GC and Wii ones are just majestic. God I love this game. :)MGSFan92
I got the PC version actually, the graphics are a little aged but the gameplay overwhelms that.
I will say this: no other game blew me away more than RE4 did. Not even the next-gen games have had the same impact that blew me away more than RE4.Gears of War 2 is a close second, but the impact that RE4 had was just so tremendous because it was thrilling and every chapter climaxed the previous one. That's why I think Gears of War 2 fell a little short in the wow-factor because some of the earlier levels were more impressive than the latter ones. I still think Gears of War 2 is great, one of my favorite of all time, but RE4's pacing and level progression always 1up'ed the previous. But there is one part in RE4 that fell short, which was the last boss.
Still, RE4 was a masterpiece and way ahead of its time. Ocarina of Time is also another one that I can still feel the impact it had on me.
If I made a top 10 list on the game's that made my jaw drop to the floor and wowed me like crazy, Resident Evil 4 would take the #1 spot.
