Who is the best old villain in Final Fantasy?

There has always been a debate on who is the best villain in Final Fantasy. In your opinion who was the best old villain?

Kefka. Because while other villians had some sort of selfish goal, he just wanted to make the world burn and destroy everything.Treflis

No, there's really no competition for Kefka. He was the first villian that had a memorable personality and a happy dance.

Kefka is the best old villain. Yu Yevon is probably the best new villain.

I have to agree with Kefka. He's the "Joker" character of the FF universe. Chaotic, apparently not motivated by anything other than his own warped sensibilities, ruthless, and yet somehow you almost always LOVE it when you see him appear. Plus, as a nice bonus, he's one of the rare FF villains that is made known from nearly the beginning of the game.

Kefka is the best old villain. Yu Yevon is probably the best new villain.

Unmatched personality, his theme (Dancing Mad) was awesome, and his laugh is timeless. Truly the best villain.

Sephiroth wins in pure badassery, though.

kefka or chaos from ff1. there wasn't much story behind chaos but you could tell he was all sorts of evil.

Kefka, he just wants the world to be destroyed just for the sake of it.

only played 1-4 of the old games (will play 5-6 when I got time)

of those games I really like garland, I dont know why but there is somthing about him I just love (not going to lie, dissidia did somewhat raise my love for garland)
but even before that I still loved him^^

Sephiroth (FFVII)

Personally, I think the best villain is Sephiroth. My second choice would be kefka. I have played most Final Fantasy Games and Sephiroth is the best old villain in my opinion.

Sepiroth is BADASS.
