Who is your faovrite FF hero from FFVIII to FFXII?

Yet another Final Fantasy thread. I'm getting addicted to these things. Anyway, which one of these is your favorite. Feel free to put heros from any of the games that are not on the poll since I can only put 5 answers.

I picked Tidus. But ur right. 5 spots is too few...maybe u should of substituted Vaan for Yuna or Garnet lol.

I'll admit that the only FF games I've played are FFIV, FFVI, FFVII, FFVIII, FFX, and FFXII. I just figured I'd go out on a limb and assume that everyone else was a soldier/ex-soldier as well.

Lack of Auron makes me sad.

Zidane!! I loved the whole cast of IX, and he's probably my fav hero in the series. Tidus would be second, then Squall.

Not a Vaan fan, but Balthier was awesome. idk why Vaan was marketed as the main character, he didn't seem that important to me (perhaps I'm remembering XII wrong, been a while since I played).

I don't know, Auron, Wakka, Vivi, or Steiner would probably be my choice depending on mood.

Zidane is pretty much the farthest thing from that stereotype. And the stoic ex-soldier can only really be applied to Cloud. Lose the ex-soldier and Squall fits the bill too, but that's the only two really.

Squall owns

Zidane because he was likeable and one of my favorite Final Fantasy characters.

I almost completely agree with this. As much as I despise Cecil, he has great character development and makes the game interesting to follow.

Tidus for life.

Since no Auron, Zidane. No other character BEFORE had the same personality they had when the game first started.

Zidane. He was a womanizer, a damn good Thief, and he had a TAIL! Seriously, he was my favorite. It could be because he was the hero of my favorite Final Fantasy, but his personality was just so different from Cloud/Squall that it was refreshing. I want another protagonist like him. We need another ladies men. Balthier or Basch should've been FFXII's leading man, and in a way, they kind of were, but still.

Zidane, definitely.

Squall is okay, he developed nicely. Tidus I actually liked as well, as he had a nice amount of developing himself. Vaan I hated; his design is crap (And yes, I think it is much worse than Tidus's), and he was just so dull, like most characters in FFXII were.

I didn't like the heros from any of those games.

Of the list here's my rank:

4- Vaan (worst main char of any FF to me)

3- Zidane (nothing special but the game sure rocked)

2- Tidus (he was great but i'm growing tired of blond main characters, a sportsman on the series was original)

1- Squall (by far the best, and more realistic of all, and he HAS STYLE)
