Who is your favorite Game Developer? :)

I prefer playing Shooters only, So currently my favorite Developers are:-

1. Valve ( Half-Life , Half-Life 2 , Counter Strike , Portal , SourceEngine)

2. Crytek ( Far Cry , Crysis , CryEngine 1&2 )

3. Epic Games ( Gears Of War , Unreal Engine 3 )

4. Infinity Ward ( Call Of Duty 1 & 2 & 4 )

1. Bethesda. They make few games but what they make is gold.

Atlus, I love them, Kojima productions for metal gear games and team ico*marry me fumito!*

1. Nintendo. (The Legend of Zelda, Mario, Pokemon, Fire Emblem, Metroid, Star Fox, and plenty of other games.)

2. Intelligent Systems. (Fire Emblem, Advance Wars, Wario Ware, Paper Mario.)

3. Rare (Banjo Kazooie, Banjo Tooie, Perfect Dark, Perfect Dark: Zero, Viva Pinata, Goldeneye 007, Donkey Kong 64, Diddy Kong Racing.)

Yes Bioware are great, ID are good as are Starbreeze and Inifinty Ward, Capcom, Sega etc

but c'mon Nintendo are the masters, how can anyone not say Nintendo!?

Nintendo, Capcom and Square Enix.

Also Rare before they were bought out by Microsoft.

Namco - I love both Soul Calibur and Tekken series.

Blizzard - So much attention to design.

Capcom - Variety and quality.

Bioware - 'Cause RPGs are about dialogue.

SSI, then Black Isles.

Never give such an award to existing devs, less they start living in the past and past achievements and died like these 2. Black Isles died trying to do action games...

Does EA make any games by themselves?

Valve makes great FPS games.

Blizzard makes great RTSs and RPGs.

The rest are just trying to keep up. ;)

Square Enix - Final Fantasy, Crono, Mana and Dragon Quest are some of my favs

Nintendo - Mario and zelda are always on the top of the list.

yea they have many internal studios

Bungie: Great games and they interact with the community and their fans much more than any other developer

Blizzard: There's no denying they have the best track record for great games out of any developer

They seem to vary depending on what games I like the most, but I like:

1. Nintendo

2. Atlus

3. Valve

4. Criterion (makers of Burnout)

That's about all I can think of. Two Japanese developers and two Western ones... makes sense. :P
