For those of you who responded to my earlier thread about which suikoden game is the best. Now I want to know which character is your favorite. There is a total of 540 characters you can choose from, so pick which ones you like the most.

My favorites are the following:

1) Cliff

2) Main character from Suikoden 2

3) Victor

4) Naiomi

5) Shiro

I have only played I and V, but I'd have to say that my favourite character was Viki. While I enjoyed both games, and liked many of the characters, I played them long ago and don't remember many of the characters that well. I remember Viki however, as she was my most often used mage in V, and it was the only time I'd seen a mage specializing in teleportation in any RPG.

That's a good list, I was debating if I should put Jowy in mine, but the main character in 2 is awesome! especially with his weapon, it's so different.

So I am going to go a little odd here. While I agree with you guys on the various characters mentioned, I am going to go off a limb and say Luc. Why Luc? Because of his development between the first three games. He starts off as the apprentice of Leknaat, a character you think in the first two games will not be that important. Than there is a plot twist in Suikoden 3, and well lets say it changes your perception of Luc. This twist is really rewarding if you played the first two games in the series prior to Suikoden 3!!! My friend did not get why I was shocked by this twist in Suikoden 3 as he only play Suikdoden 3, but it is shocking if you play the first two games.

Luc has always been such a weakling in the Suikoden games. I don't think I ever use him for regular fighting. Nice of them to do that for his character in the 3rd game. Flik, Victor, Clive, MC, Nanami and perhaps switching with a good magic user. I wish they brought back that cooking game. Hai Yo was the best NPC minigame character ever.

Thats exactly why I choose Luc. You did not expect him to be in the role he was in Suikoden 3...he was pretty weak in the first two games, but your right it was a very nice and unexpected twist in 3 involving Luc!!!

Tai-Ho. He was the coolest character in the series IMO.
