Greg is (was) a great reviewer indeed! I also like Mark from Classic Game Room, not because his reviews are so indept, but his unique (humouristic) take on it.

Kevin VanOrd from Gamespot, becasue he lists in detail what is wrong with the game and bluntly lays out if its REALLY bad or just something bad, but it can be overlooked.

I like Angry Joe because he adds comedy and parodies into his videos while looking past a games hype and truthfully rating a game.

Me.

Okay, okay, fine. There's this one guy in my local newspaper who reviews games every week, he's my favourite. Why? His tastes are pretty close to mine... and thus I find myself agreeing with him a lot.

Kevin Van Ord, Chris Watters, and Tom Mc Shea are my favorites. In my personal opinion, GameSpot has always had great reviewers and is one of the reasons I love this site. Other than them, some reviewers from The Escapist are pretty good as well (although I can't remember any particular names).

I like that guy from Classic Game Room. He gives a very in-depth look at games, and even if I don't agree with his opinion, I've heard enough and seen enough to make an informed decision anyway.

I would pick yahtzee for his humour and his way of speaking the truth. BUT, his reviews can be very off sometimes on the points that really matter. His review of the witcher 2 springs to mind. While its very funny and worth a laugh, on the stuff that really matters he is way off base. When he talks about the gameplay he bashes it just because its too hard for him to use.

But for serious reviews, I like the presentation of the gametrailers reviews, even though their reasons for their scores reek of fanboyism and aren't very fair sometimes. Hence they never give PC a fair chance. But the presentation of their reviews are really good. Other than that I like the escapists reviewers

I like Angry Joe more for the comedy than the review, but he still brings up good points, and looks at the game from a gamer's perspective.

Kasavin (all around), Casamassina (nintendo consoles), Harris (nintendo handhelds).

Too bad they are all gone :P though these guys have provided me with enough knowledge to judge a game without the need to read a review with high precision, yay!

I don't really have a favorite in particular. Some are very good, but they still tend to have stuff I disagree about. Honestly, a reviewer to me is nothing more then some guy who gets paid by writing reviews. I simply just read the review and don't really check who wrote it.

The problem is if they're fanboyish or narrow-minded, and you still take them seriously.

I'd also like to now add Phil from DSPGaming. This dude is one of the most honest and truthful guys I've ever seen and heard. His little review for DNF was awesome, and the score is great and his reasons for why Kevin got it wrong and should redo the review is pretty interesting. :)

Not that Kevin SHOULD rereview because it is an opinion but uh...based on what he says and the perspective he put into the game seems spot on for how this game should be looked at. Not as the BEST GAME EVAR which it never will be but a game that does only one thing, takes you back to the 90's. :D Yeah sure there's the stupid regen health and two weapon limit but listen to why he thinks those things are in the game and I think he's not very far off on that reason. :o
