Who started 30 days of gaming?

I`ve seen a bunch of people posting the 30 Days of Gaming on their facebook, blog, or whatever. I was just curious if anyone knew who started the trend. I wouldn`t want to join the fun if I couldn`t explain where I got the idea. Thanks for the help!

its a stupid FB thing, thats why.

Doesn`t change my curiousity. I assumed one of the bigger venues started it (ie: gamespot, 1up, giantbomb), but I guess I`m wrong or it`d be easier to figure out.

I'm doing it. its sorta lame though. just a nice way to think about past gaming achievements.

They're all over Tumblr, gaming, movies, music, all sorts. I just figured that's where most of them came from.
